When I want to completely stop thinking I just scroll TikTok, I don’t think about the videos I watch but I just kinda watch them fully and scroll over and over. It’s a great mind numbing feeling, occasionally I’ll have a moment or two where a thought is about to form but it’s easily suppressed by just scrolling to the next video. Also you need to do this by just creating a fresh burner account, you can’t use your regular FYP cuz it’s curated to your interests and you can’t help BUT to think, you need to make a fresh account with an untouched fyp just full of literal brainrot.

Then when I glance back at the clock 2 or 3 hours have passed

You could always try YouTube shorts then. This is an example of my pull on a fresh account after searching for Minecraft brainrot. (See vid)

Or the Youtube Kids app if you don’t want the short-form content, but it doesn’t keep me captivated enough and I snap out of it.. might work for you though.
