>be troon
>have deep straight male voice
is there even a point in voicetraining i dont think my voice has a good enough starting point
>>
>>35513321
my voice isnt that deep but its unquestionably male and ugly
its rough
>is there any point in voicetraining
yes, but it takes literal years of constant effort
>>
>>35513321
vfs exists anon
>>
>>35513355
Vfs is a scam
>>35513353
I can barely handle a single easy college class how am i supposed to do years of voicetraining while sounding like a freak..
>>
>>35513369
VFS is not a scam lol it will literally give you a much better starting point and isn't really that expensive at all
>>
>>35513383
Id rather not risk my voice being botched tbhon

>how am i supposed to do years of voicetraining while sounding like a freak..
the only thing you can do is do it
>wahh wahh hard
ok. then kill yourself? there's only two options here, really
>>
>>35513395
then go to a good well known surgeon and you will be fine you ask a question are given the answer and then complain what was the point of this thread do you just want a pity party?

hi! i used to sing bass in choir and my voice passes now from training alone. it is absolutely worth it but it is really hard.

you’ll hear the phrase “a lot of women have deep voices” thrown around by tgirls who are really opposed to voice training for some reason—they’re not necessarily actually wrong, even if you’d be hard pressed to find a cis woman with the tom waits ass voice i used to have. get a pitch monitor app and keep it open while you listen to a bunch of audio recording of different women speaking. often, their actual pitch will be much lower than what you might expect, but because of their resonance, breathiness, tone, inflection, all these other things, they still sound like women. and all of those things are well within your control

tldr you’re probably never going to pull off a whiny anime voice but you could figure out how to sound like one of the redscare girls with a year or two of practice
>>
>>35513383
about how much does it usually cost? not that I ever see myself being able to actually afford it with the way things are going anyways
>>
>>35513536
roughly 4k or 7k for VFS+trach shave
>>
>>35513502
I dont really think i have it in me to try to sound like a deep voiced woman even if it would pass, ive thought about just going mute or something which could be nice if people didnt force me to speak
>>
>>35513545
I guess that's much less than other surgery, do you know if getting tracheal only messes with future vfs down the line?
>>
>>35513561
I don't think so but getting both done by a specialist in throat is the thing to do imo
>>
>>35513321
Yeah dummy I specifically worked to sound like a straight passing dude before I transitioned and I had a pretty deep monotone voice and I voice trained and people tell me my voice passes now and I've used it in public and got gendered female

best of luck in whatever u choose to do voiceanon

also voice check i literally just woke up so i'm a lil creakier than i will be in the afternoon
>>
>>35513569
getting them both done in one go seems smart yeah
>>
>>35513321
voice training is a meme unless u also get vfs.. only way to TRUE passoid voice.
>>
>>35513321
Let's hear it
>>
>>35513369
i went to a voice coach for a while, felt like my voice was hopeless, then quit.

in the yrs that passed, i barely made a concerted effort to train my voice. i just checked my pitch, resonance, made small adjustments here and there, and slowly acclimated to different ways of speaking. nowadays, my voice is passes no prob.

doesn't have to take tireless effort, just be somewhat consistent. you got this
