I think that for a lot of the people here, they 'admit' such things as internalizing hatred and the fetishization that trans people face. This place has more people admitting it, but because it's more honest but because it's more mentally ill to an extreme degree and embracing the role of what people call you hurts less than having to defend yourself while also being rewarded by many of the chasers and men here. I think most literature confirms the opposite, but at the same time for those getting worse or better there's not a real way of separating the effects of hrt from life events. If you look at adolescents and young adults, those who improved with hrt are likely also starting to move, go to college and experience more freedom than before in life.
