I have a question for you Trans Individuals. Why do trans people (especially MtFs it seems,) put trans flags in their username and profile picture and everywhere they can if the point of transitioning is to be recognized and accepted as the opposite gender?Why are you "Lilith (She/Her) [Trans Flag]" with a blue-white-pink background?Why aren't you just "Emma" or something?Covering your profile with trans indicators is literally just putting a bunch of blaring sirens on your house asking people to come over and say you'll never be a real woman.Meanwhile if you just had a more cis-coded female profile, instead you'd just be farming reply guys validating you because online men easily get their brain boiled from any attention from a female, it will even be some of the same guys who would otherwise be calling you a tranny.

I'm still only like 90.1% sure about myself and haven't changed any of my profiles yet or whatever but when you go your entire life without a real sense of self and suddenly find that missing piece of the puzzle that seems to fit exactly, you should be allowed to celebrate that I think. It also helps signalling to any eggs out there that they're not alone. There's the activistic part of it, especially with what's going on in some countries right now. that and straight guys can be kinda creepynot that I really engage in a lot of trans discourse because most of what I see is hate and that makes me feel sad and I'm not trans no sir I'm a manly man

Some people just don’t know the value of even the smallest amount of anonymity, like I post my face on twitter and still keep my bio and username from mentioning I’m trans because I know people look for anything to latch onto when trying to own somebody online.

Like I said, everything will be downhill of it and that's where your habits, desires, skills etc get colored by it, but taking or wanting dick isn't an identity. That doesn't mean it doesn't shade it, the same way being a man or a woman ends up absolutely having common traits due to socialization. I'm just making a point angled at what OP was saying, which is indexing extremely heavily on one thing as your identity
