Why do most trannies I see online say that transitioning made their life way better? I was under the impression that transition totally fails for like at least half of all trannies. Are board users just especially unlucky?

Being a tranny is just one big pharma psyop
>>
I mean, going from unbearable nightmare to a bearable nightmare just because I have tits now is still an improvement in my book
>>
>>44654366
hormones gives you gender euphoria but that little gender euphoria crushes under the weight of that one kid saying
>"mom why is this guy wearing a dress"
>>
>>44654366
Having the right hormones coursing through my body helped a lot. My life prior to trooning out wasn't bad. I repped until my early thirties, had an OK career as a teacher, have a mortgage, and am married to my best friend. However, I've been aware I was likely trans since childhood. Repping takes it toll. It requires a lot of mental bandwidth.

Once I started estrogen, I felt so much less irritable. It's been the most effective antidepressant I've ever been on desu. I'm still boymoding and am currently unemployed (teaching stopped being an OK careering after Covid hit, each year got worse and worse), but I'm overall feeling pretty good. Mostly just worried about how I'll be perceived by cis people, but I've never been so this comfortable in my body before.

how did your husband receive the news of your transition? did things change between you two?
>>
>>44654366
Honfidence rots the brain
>>
>>44654490
but does it not call attention to the fact that you're basically just wearing a thin veil over those nightmare parts of yourself? does the shame not make it more unbearable?
>>
>>44654499
exactly the reason why I don't understand the general satisfaction
>>
>>44655254
>>44655269
because the alternative is worse

repping can pull you down into some deep dark places and do anything it can to keep you down there

survivorship bias. no one hears from the dead failures
>>
Idk I think a lot of people on here need to get out more and would be a lot happier if they did desu. You probably aren’t as bricky as you think you are
>>

I have never male failed in my life. I’m not sure where the assumption that literally EVERYONE on the board has to be BDD comes from.
>>
>>44654499
many trannies are happier even if they make no attempt to present female, simply taking estrogen and having long hair is all that some need to tolerate existing
>>
>>44654366
>transition totally fails for like at least half of all trannies
fails at what? passing? yes that is common. at minimizing dysphoria? never
>>
>>44654366
transition has made my life like 5% better but i am still severely fucked in the head and mentally retarded and schizoaffective so it isn't really much. Plus I'm a neverpassing hon. anyway #verifyvenuz
>>
>>44654366
I guess I'm just lucky? I'm short and young looking. I have a womanly shaped body and HRT is working fast on me. My boobs are growing quickly and don't look totally retarded. I don't talk to my family and my mother is supportive. I found my bf close to the start of my transition and kind of just get to be a part of his family and soon to be wife now. Things went from awful to insane dreamland pretty fast.
>>
>>44657587
I kinda just spend my time in a constant state of euphoria and its hard to give a shit about anything when It just feels like I'm dreaming 24/7
>>
>>44657593
>chemically induced mental retardation is happiness
I mean, if it works for you
>>
>>44657640
>skin is amazing
>boobs are amazing
>ass is amazing
>everything is pretty amazing
uh yeah lol
>>
>>44657649
Like I said, if it works for you then you should be happy. But I don't know if feeling like you are constantly dreaming is a good thing
>>
>>44657657
>i dont know if being happy is a good thing
>>
>>44657677
Don't you sometimes want to feel other things though?
>>
>>44657697
Not anymore. I spent most of my childhood homeless or being molested I'm just gonna be happy for awhile. Ofc it's not constant but things are finally pretty good.
>>
>>44657697
>you should detransition because you're happy and that's bad
thank you for being honest
>>
>>44657706
Understandable
>>44657713
When did I even remotely suggest detransitioning? I smell mental illness victim complex...
>>
>>44657725
>When did I even remotely suggest detransitioning
what were you suggesting then smart boy
>>
>>44654366
Why do you think they are on 4chan? This board has a tiny fraction of the trans people that are just walking around in everyday life being normal.
