Just turned 40, have a wife and a 6yo daughter who I love but I've been inexplicably anxious and unhappy for a while now. Recently started to realize I might be repping. Asked my wife if she'd still love me if I was trans. She basically says no... she'd "always love me" but she's straight so she doesn't think she could be with me if I transitioned. So my choices are:1) My daughter has to grow up with divorced parents and a trooned out femdad2) Rep foreverMy parents divorced when I was a kid and it sucked so hard, I never want my daughter to go through that. So I feel like I have to choose #2. Maybe it won't be that bad, my dysphoria feels minor compared to what other people report, but it seems to be getting worse and I am basically thinking about this shit like 90% of my waking life.
why the fuck did it take you 40 years to realize this
>>45080144I don't know. Some signs have been there for a while (like 10+ years) but I dismissed them as just kinks or whatever.
>>45080153nta but what do you hope to get out of transitioning here? If its being more feminine, can you just do some of that as a man? or just do some kink stuff with your wife or whatever?
>>45080141i hope this is fake for the sake of everybody involved
>>45080166Yeah maybe that's possible. I'm trying to figure that out. I am interested in trying hrt but I think that's a dealbreaker for my wife. I don't exactly know what I want yet, I just sort of feel unfulfilled and there's some feminine aspect of myself that is suppressed and that's making me miserable. Maybe I'm just a larper and not really trans. But I endlessly think about it.
>>45080141I already feel like I'm ready to die as a 23yo repchad how the hell did you get that far
> she'd "always love me" but she's straight so she doesn't think she could be with me if I transitioned. terrible wife. imagine not even being open to an open marriage arrangement
>>45072246>>45072262>>45072278
whatever you do, get on hrt. your wife is asking you to make the rest of your life a living hell
how did she not know?
> My parents divorced when I was a kid and it sucked so hard, hell my parents didn’t divorce, they seperated, while still being married. my mother even dated another guy for a bit. later my father returned, but i sent the most important years of my childhood without a father. fucked me up hard.
>>45080215My wife you mean? She suspected... and asked at one point. But I was in denial. Maybe I'm still kind of in denial, I'm in this endless bargaining loop in my head about it.
>>45080200Honestly I don't even want to sleep around or whatever. I just want to explore hrt and maybe some feminine clothes and makeup and stuff. Before I thought it was just a sexual thing which allowed me to be dismissive of it and be in denial, but now it feels like it doesn't have anything to do with sex at all. Or at least not entirely.
Divorce sucks but as a kid I knew my parents didn't like each other and just had to watch them exist in discomfort for years until they died. It normalized being unhappy with your life to me and thus I put put up with misery for years of my life too. Had to watch my mom feel happy when my dad died only to die a few months later. Don't do that to your kid. They are smart and you almost certainly don't hide it as well as you think.
>>45080141GRIMhow do you even know what a glegle is unc?
>>45080141Its over for you and there is not even a slight chance of passingngmi, and stop using 4chan
>>45080334We do actually love each other though. But my wife just doesn't think she could be with me if I transitioned. This is hard for me to empathize with because I'm bi, and my love for her isn't conditional on her sex or gender or whatever. But I guess I respect her straightness, it just sucks.
you're, what, 20, larping this larp? and you're like "geg i'm owning the troons with fucking zased opticstrvkes bro." wouldn't it be pathetic if you woke up one morning and this larp you were larping was actually your life?
>>45080141anon im in no position to give you advice, but i met this manmoder at my job last year. shes now out fully. the way she told me she realized she was trans and thought it was just kinks was very similar to what you write. shes in her thirties, and i learned that shed had a divorce bc she realized she was trans and needed to transition. And I can see that losing her deeply deeply hurt her, but she has a new partner and seems like shes blossoming to me. She didnt have a kid though. Thats all I can really say, that your situation reminded me of her. I dont know what you do. But Im sorry. Im truly sorry.
I genuinely don't understand how it's possible to rep that long.
>>45080403I understand. I was more talking about the wear over time that will happen due to repping. A resentment will slowly build I almost guarantee it. It sounds like you even feel it now.Speaking as someone who repped for years, realized I was repping, and continued to rep for 10 years. Honestly I found it gets worse and less bearable the longer you go on.
>>45080141>>45080153>40>wifenkidsYou aren’t trans. Buy a sports car like a normal midlife crisis.
>>45080141Rep. The moment you started a family is the moment you assumed obligations that take precedence over yourself and ego. You made your decisions , sorry.
>>45080503superego is only the final victory of hypocrisy
>>45080503yes. when you have children, your life is over. you are going straight to hell if you troon, op. you decided to nut in that pussy while groaning and grunting like the male you are
>>45080141Honestly it sounds like you two could at least be on good terms if you transitioned, which would be better than my parents pulled off… probably better than repping longer and causing you both to resent each other.I don’t think divorced is necessarily bad for your kid, like maybe it’s is harder to make sure they have the ideal environment, but it’s probably even harder if you’re repping anyways. My parents stayed together longer than they should have and that wasn’t good for me either
>>45080184>I am interested in trying hrt but I THINK that's a dealbreaker for my wifeHere's your next step: Ask her, not anons on 4chan.I also thought that might be the case so instead of trooning at 24, I trooned at 31.Now at 37 the only regret is not trooning early. Turned out my wife enjoyed feminizing me and it also turned out that you don't have to literally believe you're a woman. You can just do things to your body and presentation because you like it and it's way more fine than this board will tell you.We have two kids too. The oldest is 16. Turned out growing with a bit queer parents is manageable.
Sissy porn claims another victim. It's not your fault OP, being a father in the first world in 2026 makes men transexual 99% of the time. >>45080503There are still intelligent people posting here.
