This book is essentially correct. It argues doctors are clueless midwits and most of their treatments are based on poor science and harms are understated.

Would you rather live 200 years ago OP? So you could die of dysentery at 40? Didn't think so, retard.
>>
>>24883646
I'd rather die of syphilis like a great composer of the age.
>>
>>24883776
Nobody's making you take antibiotics
>>
>>24882156
I've never been helped by a doctor in my entire life. Untold thousands of dollars spent on tests only for some cunt to shrug and prescribe some goodboi pills. 99% of doctors are malignantly useless.
>>
>>24883785
Or so you would have me believe.

Dying of syphilis doesn't mean you're comparable to a great composer, lrn2logic

Yes

Yes it does, it means he can be compared in the manner of death. lrn2rhetoric

Never taken antibiotics in my life or been prescribed them. Never had a problem that didn't sort itself out with good general health, nourishment and rest. It's not dubious and often outdated or pseduoscientific medicine that improved the lives of the masses but affordable animal products and clean water. But there's good and bad in it. More bad than good, but some is useful and not merely a band-aid for a problem created by it or by lacking the above.

That doesn't mean millions across the world aren't prescribed antibiotics, which are always harmful, when they don't need them.

Congrats on your luck, but that's all it is. It's not anything you're doing or have done: it's just luck, and that well will dry. Right now horror is barreling towards you, its searching you out, it sees you and knows you better than you know yourself - quite obviously - and it will sup hardy regardless of how well you try to take care of yourself. In the sky an anvil is already falling, and your head one day it'll meet.

medical 'science' is a scam

Will read. I hate doctors.
>>
>>24883785
they're in the tap water, along with birth control and psychotropic medication and antithyroid chemicals

Then catch syphilis and don't take any prescribed antibiotics. Report back here in 5 years
>>
>>24882156
I knew that firsthand, you can't get a proper diagnosis until you see at least 3 different doctors

I just know that when you get one-shotted by some chronic illness you thought aged urine and honey could cure, and you pray to God, he’ll just refer you to your nearest physician.
>>
>>24884179
yeah I'll make sure to pray to sky daddy i die in good health. fucking moron just bite the dust and shut up
>>
>>24883646
>doctors seem to make a lot of mistakes based on outdated resources which contain faulty information
>well they were worse before
Groundbreaking stuff anon
>>
>>24884179
So was prayer for healing just completely ineffective before the advent of modern medicine? Is God that powerless? Why invoke God when you're clearly an atheist?
>>
>>24884009
Don't tell me you actually drink tapwater? I don't cook in it, either. I wish I didn't have to shower in it.
