Yet another news story of a deranged leftist has come out in Canada, we are expected to ignore. But it is time to stop ignoring and time to start rising up, like the great men Spengler, Schmitt, Hamilton, Philpott, and Moseley. What are some books that smash all leftists, from Marx to the Frankfurt School, to Judith Butler? I want to see their arguments beaten into the ground and pissed on. Not that it would be hard to do against such insanity, but I want to see it in depth.

Despite posting so much about politics I have never even once read any major theory except random speeches and excerpts from people like Ivan Ilyin and Solzhenitsyn and ancient stuff like Plato’s Statesman if that even counts as political theory.

Generally, my area of specialties is more just general antiquity and Greek stuff. For modern politics I just rely on YouTubers and Fox News and RT/ TASS and stuff like that.

People who still support Trump are either retarded or evil
>>
>>25084172
Or you know, both. It's a movement that's evil for the sake of being evil, but they're not even good at it. They're just embarrassing.

No it's just the confederacy lashing out at the union.
This is just what happens when you let confederates into the same Whitehouse they tried to destroy. Red states shouldn't be allowed to vote.
>>
>>25084285
I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I know enough about the intricacies of the confederacy to form a real opinion about that, but you're probably right based on what little I do know.
I don't agree with red states not being allowed to vote, simply because I think that with a better education system, no one would have thought it was a good idea to elect a fat retard from New York as president.

>>25084542
I don’t think any leftist seriously wants to take away the guns when billionaires are two years away from robotic armies and infinite knowledge.

That’s an old position you don’t hear much about anymore except from women, who dislike “mean” things.

Left and right are solidly pro gun these days.

>"Name and person are part of the west’s quest for form. The west insists on the discrete identity of objects. To name is to know; to know is to control."

>"Walking in nature, we see, identify, name, recognize. This recognition is our apotropaion, that is, our warding off of fear. Recognition is ritual cognition, a repetition-compulsion. We say that nature is beautiful. But this aesthetic judgment, which not all peoples have shared, is another defense formation, woefully inadequate for encompassing nature’s totality. What is pretty in nature is confined to the thin skin of the globe upon which we huddle. Scratch that skin, and nature’s daemonic ugliness will erupt."

>"Our focus on the pretty is an Apollonian strategy. The leaves and flowers, the birds, the hills are a patchwork pattern by which we map the known. What the west represses in its view of nature is the chthonian, which means “of the earth”—but earth’s bowels, not its surface. Jane Harrison uses the term for pre-Olympian Greek religion, and I adopt it as a substitute for Dionysian, which has become contaminated with vulgar pleasantries. The Dionysian is no picnic. It is the chthonian realities which Apollo evades, the blind grinding of subterranean force, the long slow suck, the murk and ooze. It is the dehumanizing brutality of biology and geology, the Darwinian waste and bloodshed, the squalor and rot we must block from consciousness to retain our Apollonian integrity as persons. Western science and aesthetics are attempts to revise this horror into imaginatively palatable form."

Paglia says all this while praising Western culture, to paraphrase, your certitude is delusional and you cannot balance truths that may at first appear contradictory
>>
>>25080001
Unfortunately, you can't. The left is correct. Everything else is cope and your pic shows how out of your depth you are in engaging with leftist discourse.
