The easiest way to succeed in the corporate world is to go to a target college for whatever branch of work it is you aim for, join the most prestigious social clubs you can - imo 2-3 prestigious ones is enough, usually these are like consulting societies, ib societies, etc., also throw in 1-2 related to your specific career interests (ESG, International Relations, whatever floats your boat). Do sports, preferably something like rowing, badminton or equestrian sports, the exact ones will vary by college and country I suppose, just feel out which one has the most nepo babies where you live. Do gym so you can look good, dress so you fit in. Follow the same sports and social events as the people whose circle you aim to enter. Go to every event, mingle like crazy, go to every party, mingle like crazy, organize events - I cannot stress this one enough, get involved in organizing events, this will give you a much greater leverage than any other project you can do at college level unless you're a stem autist, but then you wouldn't be asking this question. Get an internship as early as possible, by any means necessary, preferably a prestigious one, but you probably cant if youre asking this question on 4chan, so just get any shitty internship at a big company in your first semester, even if you have to suck dick to get it. I advise getting into consulting if youre a retard with no direction, even a spring intern experience or something like that will help you get a normal job later on. In general I think it's good to aim at the most prestigious names in your industry at the start, even if you dont think youre gonna get in. Also important, try and froantload your college courses so you can work full-time in your third or fourth year of college. Once you have a job, you can start backing away from your responsibilities in the student societies but still hang around and be present, even if only by going drinking once a month or so, and opportunities will fall in your lap. As for work, every position is different, but if you constantly underpromise and overdeliver, carefully manage your workload so you do as little work as possible without hurting your image, build relationships with people, and constantly look for opportunities and better options, you'll be fine I think
