Kaiser's a cool and passable upgrade but Great Mazinkaiser looks a bit forced, and Emperor G (which I prefer over the two) is too colourful and is evocative of Getter, which is a good SRW upgrade but not as a standalone Great upgrade. Even the OVA knew that you can't improve on Great's design. The real question is whether you want Great's limbs in black or blue.
