Some of the ones that do have their personalities changed like the Screws being generic dicks that cause trouble for no reason. A lot of the new characters are annoying. There's a lot less variety in Medarots, especially since the plot focuses on "new and improved" special Medarots causing trouble, meaning the old ones quickly become irrelevant. The plot itself is terrible too, especially when people fall for obvious traps or forgive others unconditionally despite them doing some fucked up shit. You're better off rewatching the original.

My problem with the games, or at least the ones I've played, is how your initial Medarot can carry you through most battles and there is no point in raising other medals or building other bots besides having them as live shields or for very specific situations.It would add a lot to replayability if you could start with one of three or four medals and a rinky-dink, basic Medarot made of cheap parts you change according to your selected medal's proficiencies.
