He realized when receiving the offer that he had always wanted to write something for children (that's not an adaptation of someone else's work, as he had already done manga and anime adaptations in the past).>About how Jeramie's character changed midway through and he had to revise scripts up to the episode 20: Jeramie was created as someone who would become the king of all, the one who knew everything. He was the spider because he was the one pulling the strings. When seeing Masashi Ikeda's acting during the auditions, Minato saw his cuteness but felt like though his looks and voice were perfect, his acting was not right for the Jeramie he envisioned. Director Kamihoriuchi told him that if the only problem is his acting then they could fix that during filming and so, they chose him. But in the end they didn't fix anything. The "in-between" word came from the director and so, in the end, they decided to change his character into the one who wanted to become the king of everything but couldn't, a "safety net" character for those who fell through the cracks (in-between).>About Suzume and Racles: Suzume was always supposed to be an important character but was supposed to really be a sickly person held hostage by Racules, saved by the Kingohgers who would rush the castle to save her. However, her actress' acting was way stronger than what he expected so he decided to make her Racules' accomplice instead of having Racules being "behind" everything as the "sole culprit". It all turned out all right, as it gave Racules a place to be, showing him he wasn't alone.
