To be fair to Matsumoto and Motojima, they have gotten better in recent episodes compared to those in Q1. In the special Ei just shared, both acted decently in their assigned roles. And Matsumoto may suffer more from a miscasting issue since a Beroba-like character would have been a better fit for her.
