Hey, so, as someone who has watched the entirety of Case 2 for Elements of Justice, can I make a suggestion that we watch two episodes per stream? It'd take way too much time to watch the entire case one episode per week, AND keep track of everything that's going on. The case is VERY twisty and turn-y, and a full week between episodes is going to leave a lot of people confused, and burned out from the constant cliffhangers in the case.

I love ELTSD so much. What a great episode; great character development, pacing, morals, and humor, really fun plot and very wholesome. I love the cold open with the two powerful magical mares training early in the morning. They finally have someone else talented to practice magic with so they're taking full advantage of it. I love the whole mind control hijinks as it escalates out of control. It's so funny seeing each of the characters be silly in their own special way.I love the inner struggle Glimmy goes through, she has a deep fear of disappointing others, afraid that her friends might leave her like Sunburst for not being good enough, one of the main tenets of her past ideology was even to eliminate that specific fear through equality. That's why she was so fixated on her performance rather than simply spending time with her friends which was the real point of the lessons and is a great moral.As with many episodes this season, it has the running theme about leadership and I love the way it is implemented here. This one has Glimmy taking charge of Twilight's friends and naturally it ends in disaster due to her anxieties. When everyone is arguing about how to proceed she has a panic attack and resorts to a little magicking to get everyone to work together, which of course backfires. Her silly impulsive ideas get the better of her as usual; first by trying to impress Twilight with completing five friendship lessons at once, now when backed into a corner, relying at what she's best at, magic, to solve a problem. I love when she says "everypony wins!" she always has good intentions even if misguided by mistaking the purpose of the lessons. This mishap is a really great setup for the finale when she is doubting herself over taking the lead.And I love the wholesome ending. After apologizing, Glimmy cleaning up her mess with the help of the gang ends up acting as completing the friendship lessons at the same time. That's when she really learns the moral. All in all, I love everything about ELTSD. One of the best episodes in the show. It exemplifies everything amazing about FiM I love in a wonderfully written episode about Glimmy's progress in friendship.

>>41018315I missed the end of the first case but this one seems more interesting from the get-go. I'm very interested in the murder that happened around the NMM statue. At first I thought that it might just be an incident that happened with some timberwolves considering how violent it was and the fact that timberwolves were added to the court record. But it's strange that all the blood was cleaned away except for that small puddle. So it seems like there is a pony who wants to keep that murder hidden. It's still pretty early to make theories though so I can't really say much about who the culprit could be or what happened. I am a little worried about the mirror pool being mentioned though. There's a lot of bullshit that you could pull with something like that in a murder mystery but I guess we'll just have to see where it goes.
