So what are we going to do about jump maps? Not all of us are good at playing as the demoman, soldier, etc. classes and you can probably tell that I may have been completely new at jump maps because I just earned the Highland Fling achievement last night.
>>41030328Depending on when you got kicked it could be a matter of not having the basics for comp down, being non-communicative, or even just availability. Things got a bit more strict on who we decided server entry to. >>41030690> yes, it can "rewind" hitboxes, but only for the swing. not for the charge collision itself.yes, if it rewinded both it wouldn't be easier, but because lag can rewind your target's hitbox after you charge them, and charge impacts aren't effected by lag, it means that the gap you have to followup after a charge hits is literally longer. while yes, high ping charges are jank, as long as your ping is consistent, you can absolutely learn the timing. just like using projectiles on higher ping, you need to learn to play with the delay, and while it can be difficult to do so, there are plenty of high ping people who are amazing at rocket jumping and using projectiles on this server despite the gap in lag compensation between movement and projectile aiming.>you have to aim your charge at this ghost of a player that's not there, using your own ghost that isn't where you think it is. that's not it yet tho, because your swing itself IS lag compensated. so you have to perform this combo using both a non-lag-compensated mechanic and a lag-compensated mechanic which makes it nigh impossible to perform in a real game on a real player.nothing about this makes it impossible. there are plenty of examples of people using lag-compensated and non-lag-compensated mechanics together and being fine with it. using charges at high ping, despite being janky (as all melee is), is absolutely something you can weave into your demoknight gameplay despite the hurdles. >don't speak until you've actually played with ping and tried making this work.i learned to play demoknight on much higher ping than i play on this server nowadays (i had a combination of playing regularly on a west coast community server despite being on the east coast, really shitty internet and no wired connection) and while it's unintuitive, it's definitely usable.

Been having issues staying connected to some servers ever since I moved houses. I'm on xfinity wifi now instead of Verizon wired.Sometimes I randomly "freeze." I can look around and hit my class/team menu, but any input doesn't go through so I'm just stuck in one place. Server messages come through on my end but I can't send anything in chat either. This used to happen after 30 minutes or so of connect time, but just now it happened almost immediately. When I try to reconnect it sits on "Connecting to server" for like 10-20 seconds and then boots me, saying it failed after 4 retries. I found a temp fix of just switching to a different network then switching back, or just hard rebooting my PC, but it seems to be happening more frequently tonight and it's kind of annoying. Can anypony help?
Found a fix to change my clientside port range in the launch options. I think it worked...

>>41032776So per >>41032545 you no longer are wired to your machine? If the equipment has physical ports, I'd try that first. If not, maybe see if they have the option to use your own WiFi access point/router. If you're still getting traffic inbound when this happens, I could see it either being weirdness using WiFi (computer issue) or the new network equipment dropping your outbound traffic after a period of time (network issue). Try running a continuous ping to 1.1.1.1 while playing and check that for timeouts when this happens.
My idea on how to stop bots>tf2 is no longer f2p, instead it costs $5 which is a price achievable even for third worlders>hire a human to manually look at bot accounts and manually permaban them>even at a laughably low work efficiency of 100 bots banned a day that would be $500 a day bot hosters would need to sustain their operation, which is unsustainable to 99.99% of the world population and certainly completely unsustainable to russian and chinese bot hosters>in reality a single guy banning obvious bots could approach 500 bans a work day without breaking a sweatproblems with this solution:>tf2 now costs $5, which nobody should really care about except children that are abused by their parents so badly they can't even get $5>gaben would need to get off his fat ass and pay some guy minimum wageOverall I think these changes are a 100% foolproof solution to ending the bot problem forever. Tell me if I missed anything.

Even if this does somehow alienate bots, it may also alienate people who don’t get paid nearly enough to be able to fork over this kind of money.>>in reality a single guy banning obvious bots could approach 500 bans a work day without breaking a sweatHaving a single person monitor multiple servers would take a significant amount of time and it would only mean one’s attention would be focused on one server alone, with cheating going on in the servers one is not monitoring. Having AI monitor the activity patterns of the players and reporting this to either server or Valve moderators would mean the focus would be on multiple players across multiple servers.>>tf2 now costs $5, which nobody should really care about except children that are abused by their parents so badly they can't even get $5Under your solution, it would cost them $5 per day to play the game and parents may not be willing to part with $2K per year if they are that busy caring for their children.>100% foolproof No solution is 100% foolproof and there will inevitably be false bans, as well as those who slip through the cracks. Any sort of system like the one I describe or anyone else would propose would likely involve statistical probabilities of series of events occurring without the aid of an aimbot, meaning that some unlucky people may find themselves banned or flagged for bans while playing legitimately and other luckier people may simply evade the system undetected.
>>41033814Not that guy but wanted to point out it was 5 bucks to purchase the game, not 5 bucks a day. He's saying that for every 100 bots a hoster spins up, that's 500 dollars down the drain for them.
>>41033814Are you the troll that pretends to be new and retarded?
>>41033658This may cause worse problems than not being able to connect to the server, but I agree that banning accounts may not be the best avenue of approach here, since it could mean that cheaters instead try to create burner accounts.
>>41033814>You could also try building an AI that reviews live server diagnostic information, but make its decisions subject to moderator review.what is the point of having an AI decide instead of a human if you have to pay a human to look it over anyways? just do what the guy said and hire an intern to look over reports made by players and ban the bots manually.
>>41033897even simpler, modify casual servers to have 1 "reserved" slot that can go to 25 players. have him move around casual servers and ban the obvious bots. I don't know if there's way to make him joining invisible to other players but I'm sure Valve with full access to the source coude and their experience can figure it out.The reason community servers don't have both is because they are banned instantly by their community admins. If we extend this solution to casual servers and add the friction of $5 per ban it would end the crisis within a week. But Gaben and Valve are too fucking retarded and would probably dismiss a "crude" solution like this and would instead spend 10 years developing a super epic AI solution because they're too proud.
>>41033879>but I agree that banning accounts may not be the best avenue of approach here, since it could mean that cheaters instead try to create burner accounts.did you miss the part where it costs $5. how would you expect them to "just create burner accounts" to keep their 1000 bots wide botnet running?
>>41033897The point would be efficiency and speed. We can’t exactly rely on player reports all the time, since the only information we would have of possible cheaters would be what other people report, while many others fly under the radar. Having a monitor like this would mean that reports of players would not necessarily need to come from other people who witness their actions, but leaving the element of a human reviewer would hopefully minimize the number of false bans and/or allow those who were banned by a machine to get reprieves.
>>41033912We've already been trying the VAC experiment for the past 20 years. It doesn't work.
>>41033906>even simpler, modify casual servers to have 1 "reserved" slot that can go to 25 players. have him move around casual servers and ban the obvious bots. I don't know if there's way to make him joining invisible to other players but I'm sure Valve with full access to the source coude and their experience can figure it out.while this is 100% feasible from a technical standpoint, hell it could've even be done by just a normal plugin developer, i think there are too many casual servers for just 1 guy to constantly patrol them all, they'd have to hire multiple people in order to use this plan. i like the idea of him being able to join servers, but instead of rotating between servers constantly which would be an annoying job where you could easily lose focus and miss bots while you're trying to rotate through servers as quickly as possible, just have the players say where the bots are, the mod can join the server, see the spinbotters, and ban them on sight. simple. all you need to do is tell the playerbase that reporting is effective and they'd start using the feature. maybe make it so accounts have to be 1. premium, 2. not punished in any way and 3. a certain age in order to report, so that botters can't just flood the reports as well.>We can’t exactly rely on player reports all the time, since the only information we would have of possible cheaters would be what other people report, while many others fly under the radar.i really don't see what the problem is. either take demos from casual servers for the mod to review or just allow the mod to join and spectate, the "only information" doesn't have to be the text in the report.
>>41033910If Xbox console modders have the money to purchase new consoles every time theirs get banned, a $5 fee for setting up the game following a ban would be absolutely nothing. It also doesn’t matter much when options like family sharing exist, so unless Valve plans to punish everyone in a family sharing network because one member of it would have cheated, a $5 premium for the game could be worked around. Even if there were a limit on how many people could join a family sharing network, it would still mean that aimbotters and bot hosters would save in the long run.>>41033923To my knowledge, the issue with VAC is that it performs its checks on the client side rather than the server side, which could mean that aimbotters could use diagnostic information from the server instead of modifying the game itself.>>41033935The issue here is that there are too many servers for people to become mods in and there is no guarantee that a server will be moderated around the clock. Machines also don’t have to eat, sleep, or get paid.
>>41033954>If Xbox console modders have the money to purchase new consoles every time theirs get banned, a $5 fee for setting up the game following a ban would be absolutely nothing.

>>41033968If you genuinely do not understand the difference between these, you are completely, unhelpably retarded, but I willy try. It's harder to get banned on those platforms, therefore you can play for a longer time. Individual people who are playing can afford to buy a new xbox for themselves if they have the income to support it. For some people, even if it's retarded, they're okay with getting banned and buying a new xbox to get around it. The bots are a totally different situation in every way. They aren't players. Nobody is getting enjoyment out of playing with the hacks and they think it's worth it to keep doing it. They are completely unmanned accounts in HUGE numbers being puppeted across casual. The number of accounts they get banned and then remake new to fill the servers again is immense. It would not be at all feasible for this to continue in the numbers it currently is if 1. the game costed money and 2. the bans came faster.
>>41033987Wow, uh, that's... exactly right. You're right on the money. Thank you, my kindred.
>>41034006Not to mention the xbox modders capable of going to the store and buying a new one are mostly americans doing it for fun who can justify using their income on something stupid like that while the bot hosters on tf2 are mostly chinese and russian, where the average income is way lower.
>>41033987>They are completely unmanned accounts in HUGE numbers being puppeted across casual. Then by this logic, servers could require users to solve Captcha prompts just to join them, but I’m unsure as to how this would work on console releases of the game.>It would not be at all feasible for this to continue in the numbers it currently is if 1. the game costed money and 2. the bans came faster.Like I said, family sharing could mean that burner accounts could be used to join family sharing networks and be able to play the game for free unless Valve plans to ban entire networks for the actions of particular members.
>>41034010But those who can afford the hardware to play the game are among their middle and upper classes anyway, since the ability to own a new gaming console is not the first thing on the minds of most people there. It is not possible to avoid bans by family sharing. If someone cheats on a family shared account the entire thing is banned forever.
>>41034018If this were truly a concern, this thread and /vg/tf2g/ would be flooded with posts in defense of unmanned TF2 bot players, likely written in the style of hastily crafted responses to ChatGPT prompts.
>>41034026no, because this website actually has moderators, regardless of how little competency they have.
oh, another thing about family sharing, only one account on the family network can launch the game at a time, and banned games can't be shared, so EACH running bot would still need an accompanying tf2 purchase regardless of what family sharing shenanigans they try to get away with.
>>41034023>not to mention AI can be used to defeat captchas easily as fuck nowadaysEven if this were the case, Captcha prompts are getting harder and harder to solve because they involve performing more complex tasks. There may eventually come a point where bots have the ability to solve Captcha prompts, but that would just be the point where they would already be too hard for them.>or outsource captchas to indian children who work for pennies on the dollar. If Valve has access to people’s credit card information, what would stop them from checking for this sort of thing?>you do not need to be upper or middle class to play this game. This would be true in a high-income country like the U.S., but only half to 2/3 of the global population even has access to the Internet, so in a country where most people don’t have this luxury, those who do are likely among their elite.

In this case, the equation's solutions can be approximated by x ~ (1.57 +/- 3.74i) + 2*pi*k, where k is any integer.

>>41034245>>41034252In complex numbers, the trig functions (sin, cos, tan, cot, csc, csh) are defined using exponentials. For example, sin x = (1/2)(e^ix - e^-ix) and cos x = (1/2)(e^ix + e^-ix). The proof of these trig identities are pretty straightforward (just take the power series expansion of e^ix and e^-ix, and every other term cancels each other out, giving the Taylor series expansion of sin x and cos x), and this new definition lets you extend these previously real-value-only functions to the complex values. Basically, you take the sine function in the real numbers, and you "fill in the blanks" for the complex numbers by continuing its graph. In doing so, it turns out you can extend the original range of [-1,1] to a complex number by filling in the blanks.
>>41034275Also forgot to mention that this exponential definition of the trig functions lets you naturally define the hyperbolic trig functions (sinh, cosh, tanh, coth, csch, sech) algebraically instead of using the trig functions. For example, sinh x is usually defined as -i sin (ix), but you can instead write it as sinh x = (1/2)(e^x - e^-x), which is much simpler.

I’m curious: do any of the maps have Twilight, Celestia, or Luna plushies or was there a reason why they couldn’t be included? If it’s because it would pose an undue burden to have plushies of different shapes from the others, there could at least be a Twilight one somewhere.Perhaps if they don’t exist, we could have our own version of Turbine called Rainbine, but Rainbow Dash would be more prominently featured there. And yes, I did go for that reference.
>>41041482Perhaps the ceiling could be painted like Equestria’s sky and there could be a giant plushie of Dashie (or perhaps even Rainbine) in the center. The Twilight plushie could just be placed like any other unless we want to have a map about her. I would say we could have 2Light instead of 2Fort, but Marefort may have this taken care of.

I'm curious, how would you define a "good" Heavy player? We had a discussion about this in the server a couple nights ago. Is it someone who can play Heavy and can frag out and go on long killstreaks with a Medic buddy (and protect their pocket Medic too), or is it someone who can play Heavy and support his team well even if their team doesn't have a Medic?
>>41042989this is how ponies play tf2
>>41043052This is how I play TF2 with Dashie
>>41043041You’re assuming that medic buddies will always be a thing. Certain people may just not want to be medics and they may be focused on healing other people when they do.FSoaS has said that the Brass Beast pairs well with the shotguns because the heavy may need to still do close-range combat when he moves around, but I also think that having a combo of the Brass Beast, Sandvich, and GRU could work as well, since the GRU would get one to where one wants to go faster and the Sandvich would offset the health penalty.

This isn’t a problem with this server, but I’m pretty sure I’ve killed the Horseless Headless Horsemann on another server and was never awarded the Haunted Metal Scrap, so maybe the achievement system is just bugged.
>>41044029If you want it to work like normal use the !reverts command and disable the revert. The plugin sets it to the old soda popper which gains hype via movement and gives crits when full automatically
>>41044034OK, but how come I only got that achievement tonight and I don’t have the Haunted Metal Scrap? Is there something wrong with the achievement system?

>>41044041Well, it seems as though many achievements are redundant and ask us to do the same task multiple times. >>41045259is there any particular reason why you wouldn't suck a dick?
>>41044569It insta crashes when there's enough players on the server when we play the map.
>>41044432I don’t know which plugins you’re referring to, but I think testers should perhaps start with the barebones game and see which plugins do and don’t work. It’s more important to have a functioning game than it is to have plugins that are superficial to the game’s core functionality.
>>41045259I feel like I have seen you post this once or twice before, so I am going to explain my thoughts behind pony-merc association. It is a statement on the kind of player the ponies are, rather than which pony most accurately resembles which merc as a character. She would love to be supportive and help her friends as she does in the show, she is kind and sweet and takes care of animals. She is also a soft girl (like all medic mains). When people say Twilight would be sniper it isn't because she is a piss wielding aussie (unf) she is just smart and calculated and would be good at finding picks. I also think she would have good aim because she is all about accuracy and is a perfectionist. There is some overlap, Rainbow Dash and Scout being the obvious example. Both are full of themselves (in a charming way) and are all about speed (or at least scout is the fastest base speed merc, I don't know if he is obsessed with speed like a Dashie/Sonic esque character) There's also Spy and Rarity where I feel it is a lot of both, Rara and spy both love fashion and have the whole uptight posh-yness to them, typical spy montages are very flashy and all about showing off which I feel like Rarity embodies, and Rarities skill with a needle is like a knife? idk reaching on that last point but you get the idea. Maybe I am way off the mark but I feel like that makes sense
>>41045523I agree on Rainbow Dash being the scout, Pinkie Pie being the pyro, Berry Punch being the demo, Applejack being the engineer, and Rarity being the spy, but these associations were made by the fandom (and by me) because of personality and physical similarities.
>>41045523>She would love to be supportive and help her friends as she does in the show, she is kind and sweet and takes care of animals. But she probably wouldn’t like shooting people with crossbows or performing area denial with a gun that shoots syringes.

>>41045575>none of the ponies would like shooting, maiming and killing people/poniesYou’re implying that the MLP-verse isn’t set in Pinkie Pie’s wicked imagination and one of the alternate timelines from the S5 finale isn’t the reality of the land. Perhaps Pinkie’s party cannon is really a children’s toy called Spaceballs: the Flamethrower and whatever desserts that Applejack contributes to her “parties” are machines that she’s really trying to keep Rarity from sapping.
>>41045454Weapon revert, deathrun, and saxton hale plugins rely on TF2items. TF2items hasn't been updated to support 64 bit.
>>41045751Is it possible that we can play without those until someone fixes them? And if we are this adamant about using weapon reverts, FSoaS’s Bad Weapon Rehab servers seem to still be up and running, so perhaps we should ask them what they are doing. Though I don’t think it is necessarily this important, especially if most other servers don’t have this.Meanwhile, we can try playing tonight and for the next few nights without the plugins and see where this gets us. Again, it isn’t like most other servers have these enabled anyway,

>>41046362>when some rando dms 15 bitching and moaning, they get bannednot really, i've bitched and moaned plenty to 15 in the past. in fact, i've sent him paragraphs on end complaining about things he's done in the server. bitching and moaning at 15 when you've committed a smaller offense is just likely to increase your punishment because you're acting like a child. complaining isn't against the rules, believe it or not.

>>41047564this video is made by a weirdo, would not trust anything he spews
>>41047564>a handful of individuals are operating massive botnets to scrape marginal value from drops in a 16 year-old gameI've said it before and I'll say it again, letting third-worlders have internet access was a mistake
>>41047564This guy's going nuts trying to be scary and harp on emotional talking points. Plenty of people talk about the botting problem and how TF2 is stagnant, he must just be around some bad communities that drank the xitter kool-aid of just being positive about anything that isn't someone drawing the wrong ship/porn.He should've spent a lot more time talking about HOW Valve can combat bots (Some ideas that together would probably cut the problem in half or more: Basic heuristic analysis to flag cheating/botting in matches for report, a main menu CAPTCHA before playing to cut down on garbage bots, and playing needed to get giftapult drops to make main menu idling not work).
>>41047585>weirdo>doctorate in geological surveying (maths)>catholic>doesn't like troons and shitty hatsliterally the most based tf2 youtuber>>41047676the main point of the video was proving that the tf2 player base hasn't been growing since 2017 and that all the steam player count statistics the media outlets use when reporting on tf2 are horrendously inaccurate
>>41047564I watched it and his claims are logical but don't hold up to scrutiny. If TF2's playerbase really is 80-90% idling bots, how in the hell are they making profit with all the barriers to entry in place and why the hell aren't they just mining cryptocurrency if they have access to this computing power? Each new steam account costs $5 before Valve allows it to trade and given the current metal prices that would take years of a bot operating without a ban before it even begins to profit, other costs such as electricity nonwithstanding. Furthermore, taking money OUT of the steam's closed ecosystem isn't free. That metal and those keys have to be converted to real money somehow and you can bet you're losing at least 40-50% of your total value on Valve's cuts and 3rd party services that liquidate your metal. When you take all this into account it sounds complete lunacy that so many tf2 players were idle bots. It just isn't plausible.Spikes in bot activity during update time itself are more plausible because newly released cases tend to be worth more than 1 cent, but claiming that TF2' player count is 80% bots all year round? Absolutely not.It also makes no sense that TF2's videos would get so much support and views on youtube if the real daily playerbase was in the 20k range. That would mean Left 4 Dead 2 has 50% more daily players than TF2 and that's just hilarious to consider given how nonexistent L4D is currently in the meme sphere and online communities in general. The discrepancy in teamwork.tf and steam numbers can simply be handwaved away by saying it's just how it is because we don't have other games to compare it to. Who's to say different games don't also have big discrepancies in actual playing players and the number steam reports?Overall this video made me sad because it's bound to have negative consequences in the community, so good job Zesty you stupid thoughtless nigger.
>>41047862The main way bots make money is money laundering. TF2's item economy is perfect for turning stolen credit cards and other illicit sources into real cash. That's why there are websites selling keys at massive discounts when the only source of keys is Valve at a high cost.
>>41047862>his claims don't hold up to logical scrutinyRegarding the 80-90% idling bots, it makes complete sense to me that there is only 20k players on a given day considering the fact that if you try to play casual its almost impossible to actually find a full game, not to mention that a good 50% of the community server tab is empty. As for the new steam account costing 5$, there was a post on /vg/ talking about this, but these are hacked/hijacked accounts that were gained through Phishing, Brute Force or were Abandoned. Another thing is that he even mentions in the video itself that you need extremely extremely tiny amounts of computing power for these bots because they're running modified versions that run TF2 in Text mode, so you can theoretically run an extremely large number per computer (likely in excess of 10,000). As for the "this isnt that profitable" part, the people doing this are largely from South America and Russia, where the USD is worth exponentially more, Not to mention the fact that they aren't actually just dumping these onto the steam market exclusively. If you watched Zesty Jesus's video, you would see that many of the bots trade them to sellers that likely buy them for a lump sum, and then resell them for much more in terms of TF2 items (usually 1-3 refined per crate.) on backpact.tfAs for discrepancies, I can imagine there probably is more players that play the game, but they're not all online at the same time.Oh, and as for the reason why Left 4 Dead 2 might have more players without having an impact on the "meme space" like tf2 has is because tf2's fanbase on places like Youtube, Reddit and Twitter don't actually play the fucking game, and that is provable given the fact that many of them are underaged and found out about the game through things like Lazypurple and Uncle Dane
>>41047862Here it is for argument's sake. TF2 has 3x the youtube activity of L4D but the video tries to allege it has less players than it. L4D for sure has no bots at all as the game has no items at all, so how does this work?>>41047878Anon there's a million better ways to money launder stolen credit cards than a 16 year old game.
>>41047886>>41047884
>>41047884>>41047862Another thing to say about profitability in regards to this is that its passive income in a shithole thirdworld country, the bot hosts for this are probably making more than a doctor makes in their country
>>41047884>Regarding the 80-90% idling bots, it makes complete sense to me that there is only 20k players on a given day considering the fact that if you try to play casual its almost impossible to actually find a full game,That can be explained by the TF2 matchmaking system just being garbage. Ever wonder why casual games empty out after the round ends and the map changes? You play for 10 minutes and not a single new player joins, then suddenly 15 people are connected to the server at once. It's very clear the matchmaking system is complete ass and isn't working efficiently.>not to mention that a good 50% of the community server tab is emptyThis is the case for every game with community servers ever made. Not every server can have players in it.>you can theoretically run an extremely large number per computer (likely in excess of 10,000). steam doesn't allow this many connections, at minimum they would need to run a new VM instance for every account. 10,000 accounts on one machine is ludicrous.idk it just sounds stupid. why doesn't dota 2 or cs have hundreds of thousands of bots if it's so profitable?
>>41047917Because Counterstrike and Dota 2 are maintained consistently, again if you watched Zesty's video you would have heard the reason for this.Uncle Dane when he visited valve was informed by the TF team that they had personally banned over 150,000 idle bots (which we have no reason to not believe considering Dane accidentally leaked Jungle Inferno in this exact same video) meaning when they actually give a fuck they have the means to handle this.
>>41047917yeah the quickplay system worked much better than the casual one. finding games and keeping them full was no issue back then
>>41047927https://youtu.be/0P8Ubkn_a6Y?si=PqU2S-EZ1LmMHgoK&t=456Timestamp of the TF team admitting that they had to ban at minimum 200k bot accounts>"Jill told us about a specific instance very reasonally where he had to personally ban over 200,000 bot accounts, We were all very impressed by this until he told us that the Troublemakers simply made 200,000 more accounts a few days later"
>>41047945so some third worlders paid 1 million dollars to recreate their idle bots that valve immediately noticed again?
I will do the next border patrol
>>41047862Hard disagree, the arguments here absolutely pass the sniff test. The primary assertion, that TF2's "playerbase" is 70-80% bots, is well supported by the provided evidence and checks out with my own experience. Casual mode isn't heaving like you would expect it to be with the purported tens of thousands of players, and there are nowhere near enough populated community servers to make up the difference. Something must be inflating the playercount dramatically, and the provided solution of farming bots fits the bill elegantly. The motive is pretty easy to parse, too - the bothosters farm crate and item drops to convert into income, taking advantage of cheap electricity and the weakness of their local currency against the dollar and euro that most TF2 players use (also, small-scale money laundering, like >>41047878 suggested). At the scale of multiple thousands of bots, the trade delay for free accounts hardly matters.
>>41047564His thesis is definitely correct yet he argues with easily refuted points for basically the entire video. His data is filled with bias in the way it's presented, to the point I literally could not point out everything wrong in the video within the character limit. I watched the entirety of it yesterday while talking to a friend about my opinion's on it, I genuinely paused about every 2 minutes to write a lengthy explanation of why the point he was making at the time was flawed or even just straight up wrong in some cases. I genuinely didn't know you could be this incorrect while arguing for something which is true.
>>41047927Dashie
>>41048155His whole thing is to just whine at length because he thinks the problem is people aren't whining at Valve hard enough. The real problem is people aren't supporting Valve working on the game with good ideas and showing that they'd be cool with them.
>>41048155Oh mister smartypants, please enlighten us
>>41047884>Oh, and as for the reason why Left 4 Dead 2 might have more players without having an impact on the "meme space" like tf2 has is because tf2's fanbase on places like Youtube, Reddit and Twitter don't actually play the fucking gamethat's a bold statement. "the game is super popular but nobody plays it" doesn't sound very believable.
