I watched through G1, Tales and G3 about a year ago. It had a lot of neat stuff and cute mares in it. But, I don't think a lot of it is rewatchable for me, sorry to say. I think I can really only rewatch the early seasons of G4 and certain episodes in the later G4 seasons. I loved Heart Throb, Galaxy and Wind Whistler. Starlight and Clover were my favorites in Tales. For G3, certainly Minty, Thistle Whistle, Pinkie, Rainbow and Razzaroo. Yes, yes, yes! Whimsey Weatherbe was great. Pic related is me and my G1 wife.

I watched Rescue at Midnight Castle. Wow, I think maybe Faust took inspiration from this because there were similarities between it and Friendship is Magic. Tirek wants to bring eternal night, ponies venturing through a dark spooky forest encountering perilous situations and strange creatures. I love the vibe of that. A lot of the scenes were kind of random and the songs were bad, but the art was great and the pony designs especially are so cute and fuckable. I really like G1 Spike too, he was funny. I like the juxtaposition of how scary the dragons and minions look too. In FiM the villains are all cutesy-fied.
