Should I refund my flight? I booked it when the dates were announced, now I'm getting worried that the venue hasn't been announced yet.
We've got a great new venue this year. I've stayed at it myself. It's all set. It will be announced when we launch the website and start the con cycle proper. We gave out the dates so the people who need to know ASAP in order to take time off could do so. Regardless, if we just said what it was without a venue page on the site, then you couldn't even book inside our room block or see what other information we have to relay to you. You may as well have asked why we haven't announced badge tiers or any special events yet. These will come once we actually launch this year properly. I mean, I'm already planning the next Cinemare Night, but why would I start posting about it right now? You can't even buy a ticket yet.That being said, all of this is poised to happen pretty soon.
