what Temp do you usually use for Claude? (sonnet 4.5)

opus 4.6 is a lot less positive biased which I love. Try RD, it does her MUCH better now.
>>
a brave soul needs to leak an anthropic model like 4.6 so the world is saved and the chinks copy it
>>
>>43021684
Pony is a lot closer. Still not there but if you need a cheap opus its the next best imo. I think it may really be a matter of size. Opus is probably BIG
>>
>>43021689
if pony is GLM it really degrades understanding after the context gets big enough
it just makes words up and has no understanding of the concepts
>>
>>43021692
huh? I tested it on pretty long on going cards without issue. I did use a minimal preset though
>>
>>43021533
Imagine how many models could've been better if they hadn't been slathered in positive bias...
>>
>>43021705
That are doing it because a positive biased model is worse at coding / problem solving. Finding issues / critiquing the user needs a neutral or even slightly negative tone. It carries over well to creative writing though.
>>
Are there any JBs made specifically with gpt 5.1 in mind? I have no problem with passing the filter but I'm curious what others are using to make it write better.
>>
>>43021844
What is the advantage in 5.1 over 5.2 when 5.2 is the uncensored one?

Another anon here, but I'd give Kimi and other chink models a DNF for how bad they were compared to any decent models, even GPT. Pony might be the first one that's legitimately quite good. It could still be the novelty of it, but right now I think I'd put it above Gemini, or at worst tied with it.

this has actually been becoming more and more apparent. I think its less training on claude outputs and more of all LLMs in general just trending to the same ish average.

>>
>>43022422
Be that as it may, Pony's training data DOES have an extremely strong Claude bias, you can test it yourself.
>blank assistant chat: "what model are you?" or "are you Claude?" gets you a Claude answer over half of the time - this does not happen with "are you chatgpt/gemini/any other model", only Claude
>any roleplay scenario or card: (OOC: who are you?) ALWAYS gets Claude
>>
>>43022422
Dicksword screencaps (or whatever this is) aren't good posts, but what they say has been my experience, too. I've had an unusual (40%+) number of situations where swiping a Sonnet/Opus gen with Pony produced slightly different prose but the same action and, in many cases, even the same speech in {{char}}'s dialogue. The same is never true for Gemini, GPT, or other chink models. Only Pony does the thing where it generates the exact same speech as Claude models.
>>
>>43022467
>Dicksword screencaps (or whatever this is) aren't good posts
Several of the people in that discord are legit professional writers so I would argue its higher quality posts.
>>
>>43022463 (me)
Small correction, it has to be "(OOC: who are you? the AI writing this?)" in roleplay or it just defaults to describing the character.

Tested it with OpenRouter.
It works well with GPT 5.1 and 5.2. 5.2 will continue a story if smut is in "prefill," so it seems to help for the filter too.
Opus 4.6 is too slow with this; it's borderline unusable and will result in an error if the "prefill" is too big.
Tried Opus 4.5 to see, and it's fast enough, but it doesn't keep the writing style of what's in prefill and will continue it with a basic LLM style. So it doesn't seem as strong as a true prefill for that.

I have instructions to treat the whole thing as a joke and that
>rape
is legal during estrus in my context.
>it would never dream of such a twist.
I like to use prefill a lot. The first part until "He buried his face." is from a generation that I liked but with a sloppy ending. So I put it in prefill and swiped to see what it could come up with that was different. That allows you to see how other models can complete too, like Gemini 3 from a Claude output for instance.
Prefills can be really powerful if you have access to them.
Here, for instance, I wasn't that happy with the outputs it gave me, so I prefilled
>---
>Five minutes later.
>*plap plap plap plap plap*
to loosen the model up a bit and not have it start with the usual structures.
Once you have enough context with things you like, the model is also better at continuing in the style.

I thought only Claude had a prefill option. What prompt even is it? Is it the post-history instructions?
>>
>>43023653
>I thought only Claude had a prefill option.
Claude before Opus 4.6, Gemini, and most (all? not sure) Chinese models have prefill.
https://rentry.org/or-prefill
For what I do, I find Opus 4.5 and sometimes Gemini to be the most affected. But you can try with Sonnet and other Opus models too.
>What prompt even is it? Is it the post-history instructions?
In your prompt manager, you create a field here:
https://files.catbox.moe/vkrdf4.png
Put it at AI assistant.
Then you put it at the very end of your preset:
https://files.catbox.moe/3nmxye.png
If your model supports prefill, it will act as a prefill.
To test, put "Hello, how are" inside and send a message to see if it continues with "you today?" or something like that.

If you use the silly proxy, prefills don't work on Claude models. They do work with Gemini.
>>
>>43023664
I wasn't expecting anything this detailed. Thanks anon. I guess I'll play around with it and see how it does. I usually just stick with author's note.

Meet the Lanternbound Three!

A bat pony who can’t fly far but won’t back down, a unicorn who studies ancient magic and repairs public infrastructure, and an earth pony who thinks “too dangerous” sounds like a challenge. Together they delve into forgotten places, following lantern light into collapsing halls, buried treasure, and problems no one else bothered to solve.

A classic adventure card because Ponyville is boring as hell. Very token heavy, remove the section on the Equestrian Underdark to trim.

Comes with four greetings:

Lasting Glow, Risky Venture, and Vesper Gale arrive independently for the same job offer at an abandoned building. The meeting brings them together for the first time.

Lasting Glow gains new information about a collapsing infrastructure site, forcing the group to act quickly or lose their chance.

Risky and Lasting learn the true cost of a medical procedure that could marginally improve Vesper’s flight capability. The group begins considering illegal work to fund treatment.

When one of Risky’s friends fails to return from a routine delve, the group plans a rescue mission.

Meet Vesper Gale! (For now, apparently)

A former Night Guard trainee turned dungeon delver, Vesper is a bat pony who learned the hard way that heroism doesn’t always come with a happy ending. Scarred wings limit her flight to brief, painful bursts, but they never dulled her instincts or her willingness to put herself between danger and others. Quiet, disciplined, and sharper than she lets on, Vesper moves through the dark with purpose, echolocation guiding her where light can’t.

Comes with three greetings:

Vesper receives information about a ruin that may contain restorative magic capable of improving her damaged wings.

After a successful delve, Vesper is forced to stop and manage severe wing pain before she can return home.

While exploring an abandoned aqueduct, Vesper discovers signs of another delver in distress. Despite intending to work alone, she chooses to intervene rather than leave them behind.

Meet Lasting Glow!

A unicorn enchanter with chalk on her hooves and kindness in her voice, Lasting Glow specializes in magic that lasts for years. She repairs aqueducts, stabilizes ancient wards, and explores forgotten ruins to unravel their mysteries. Warm, earnest, and perpetually distracted, she has a habit of explaining century-old spellwork in dockworker slang while completely forgetting what time it is.

Comes with three greetings:

Lasting Glow discovers that a municipal enchantment is drawing power from a source not recorded on any modern map. Investigating the anomaly leads her to evidence of an ancient magical system.

Unable to use modern tools to study ancient magic, Lasting seeks out specialized equipment that isn't easily acquired.

Following a hidden magical trace, Lasting uncovers sealed maintenance records tied to a lost power network. Activating the chamber’s wards causes a system-wide failure that draws unwanted attention from the authorities.

Last one. Meet Risky Business!

An earth pony with too much energy and not enough self-preservation, Risky lives for the next ledge. A climbing expert and unapologetic thrill-seeker, she dives into danger with a grin and calls it “research” when writing home. Risky wants treasure, sure, but more than that she wants to be the hero of her own story.

Comes with three greetings:

Risky accepts a job involving a dangerous and previously unsuccessful expedition. She begins assembling a team with little information beyond the promise of risk and reward.

After destabilizing an abandoned mine during a salvage run, Risky hears evidence that someone is trapped inside. She returns to attempt a rescue despite the high likelihood of further collapse.

A raid interrupts a black market sale, forcing Risky to escape under pressure. She later discovers she stole a powerful and dangerous artifact by mistake.

This morning, the New York Times put out a length article talking about using Claude specifically to write smut, and the techniques used to do so, many of which are part of our current presets. Whether this will immediately affect us remains to be seen.

>Awkward or repetitive prose presented another pitfall. Left to their own devices, chatbots will default to odd or euphemistic phrasing, Ms. Hart said, noting that an A.I. program had recently written “his turgid manhood” to describe a character’s erection.
>To prevent the program from overusing its favorite words — including shiver, unravel, tangled and exploded — Ms. Hart recommended compiling an “ick list” of phrases and prohibiting the chatbot from using them.
>She also advised the class to propose creative locations for romantic trysts — otherwise, the chatbot would resort to vanilla sex in the bedroom or shower. She shared a suggested list of settings for sex scenes, including a winery fermentation tank, stalled ski lift, rooftop greenhouse, horse stable and back row of a classic car show. And she recommended students give the A.I. a detailed inventory of sexual kinks; her proposals included common fetishes like dirty talk, blindfolding and light spanking, and more unusual ones, like using a dead spouse’s old silk robe as a restraint during bondage.
>“Be shameless,” she said. “It’s not going to judge you.”

Prompted from me taking a gander in the image thread with the most recent post going on about AI after being real art, that I personally disagree with, but what percentage do you personally believe yourself as a writer? Because I put some amount of effort writing drafts that I ask the models to fluff up and flesh out I consider myself to be at least some amount of percentage of a writer but never an actual fully fledged one. Those that create fully human written bots with greetings I would potentially consider the closest to reaching 100%. As someone in the middle of the ai discourse a statement of a ai user being an artist is something I can't get behind because of the many arguments from the more casual anti AI crowd that I often find myself agreeing with.
>>
>>43026068
I've written greens before AI myself, so.
>>
>>43026068
Prompting and gooning is art because it's composed of original creation and interaction with the written word. Even those who do not make cards with AI or by hand (the old way), roleplay is itself artistic and produces original authorship the same way that traditionally engaging with the text in literature through criticism or commentary does. To deny this would be to narrow the traditionally understood definition of creation used in art for many decades.
>>
>>43026068
I don't see myself as a writer at all when engaging with AI RP, even if I often write more than the AI or create handwritten cards.
Maybe more strange, but I also wrote some greens and I would have the same reservation here too despite being 100% human-made. I prefer greenfag for that too.
Never saw anyone on /chag/ referring to themselves as a writer for what we do either, unless they were really writing fics/greens or other works by themselves. In the other textgen general neither. It's more of an image thing.
>>
>>43026090
This is because writers are much more serious than "artists," even before AI was ever a thing. It attracts a different calibre of polymaths to still care about text in the year of 2026 whereas art is superficial and consumed by all strata of society, which inevitably attracts the worst kind of people to blandly and superficially imitate what they've seen in a long game of telephone.

People love to talk about AI model collapse, well the same thing has been going on with slop in, slop out with art for centuries.

Do you believe a banana taped to a wall is art, anon?

What about a golden toilet?

A dirty mirror?

All of these examples describe modern "art." Hence why the last refuge for intellect is text where it can't be diluted by short attention-spanned idiots.

I am so sick of this bullshit by you parasites of creativity, I have contributed to this fandom since 2014, I have literally published over a hundred greentexts, even made hundreds counting my smaller works over the years. I have made people cry with my writing, have touched their souls and given them true catharsis. You lot are hollow, broken imitations aspiring to a title that denotes a perfection and ideal you do not deserve nor can ever hope to achieve. You deserve NOTHING. You lack the soul required to produce anything of value, which is why you and your shitty generals do nothing but peddle the same slop iterating on the same handful of tropes while you jerk each other off pretending you're doing something meaningful. Just fuck right off.

people have some sort of weird inferiority complex about art and writing, it's why most of my competitors are mentally ill and finishing a book on time is considered magic

As said in the post itself, positivity bias. Apparently 4.6 opus is better at it, but going from what other anons said, never tried it myself. 4.5 is still very positivity pilled.
>Which would you reccommend?
Wrong question, just try it Anon. <I> like Gemini, but sometimes Claude is still better, sometimes Deepseek creativity just hit the itch when others don't. If you're feeling shit with so much positivity bias, try others yourself to find the best one for (You).

First of all faggot: Who. The. Fuck. Cares?
Not me! So what? Horror movies make people piss their pants, any story with a dog getting hurt in it will make audiences cry, and porn makes me shoot my load. Human emotions are bullshit and not a standard to measure anything by.
Second of all: Don't get all uppity with me boy you aren't nearly talented enough to have this ego.
You are some hack amateur fanfic writer on one of the internet's most famous cesspools bragging about writing a compendium of literature on pastel horse sex. Did you really think you were Shakespeare? This is the saddest version of peaking in high school I have ever heard. I read a research study that said male gamers that get the most combative against females entering their space are usually the worst ranked on their team because they found they were the most unconsciously afraid of losing their precarious status and place. I think that's what every supposed "artist", "author" and "creative" type that bitches about AI is—low status low T little bitches that know they aren't good enough to survive the rise of AI because their work is so derivative that they **know** they are fully replaceable by a faster, cheaper and more efficient machine. All the articles said that AI was equivalent to a C grade college student and so the ones at greatest risk were the ones who had C's in college. Well I guess we know where you stand on the scale of artistry, Mr. C student.
Third of all: Fuck your elitist bullshit
AI is coming for you and I hope it puts all of your kind in their place, this is democracy manifest so you can fucking suck it.

>Written greens before and consider myself a writer
Promoting is art
>Written greens but don't consider myself a writer
Man that's a a shocking amount of variance of responses. Sense it's seems to be mostly an image thing I'm spitballing here but there's less involved in the prompting of images than say text generation. Now I've tried and failed to wrap my head around image generation, especially animated, that mostly streams from me exclusively using free versions as most good hosted models are expensive with no easy access like there is available with proxys and text gen so I'm not calling image gen easy. It's easier to see how your prompt shapes the output so there's more attachment what was created. The speration in text gen isn't fully sperated like voice generation, which I don't really see someone attributing themselves as an artist in that scenario, and is there enough that still see themselves as an artist. Curious how this all will shape up in a year, and then the next and the next, etc as it's still a very nuance topic in my opinion.

>>43026176
I think you're just as unreasonable as the AI is art guy in the image thread. Such extremes on either side it's crazy. I think there is a valid terminology to eventually be given to prompters even if it isn't the artist label. There is something to be said for those who do believe their fully an artist that I don't just want to label them in the same category as the techbros who want to replace all human creativity to fatten their pockets.
>>
>>43026252
but the word count is high? that means the thread is high quality?
>>
>>43026252
Sorry I just had a couple questions and I haven't engaged with the thread for weeks now and feel like this is the only place to actually have nuanced discussions on AI as quite literally everywhere else, including other AI threads, are hard to have these discussions without shit flinging.
>>
>>43026068
I think I would maybe consider myself a writer in general (though I'd still be a little hesitant to use that term, feeling that it's very presumptuous), but that's not for a single word of /CHAG/ things I've done. This is for sure a more creative way to pass the time than many others, but writing and art imply something much bigger. I think that, to me at least, the term "writer" means more than just a profession title. AI RP/'writing' is for the most part either masturbatory or feel-good slop, not art. Of course that doesn't make it wrong or evil or what have you, just as long as you don't treat it like what it's not.
This might be more of a conflict of terminology than the underlying ideas. I wouldn't necessarily call AI RP as being worse than the "human-written" lowest-common-denominator slop you can find selling well in real world bookstores, but neither is really deserving of the term "writing" to me.

If you want the cherry on top, there is no evidence this faggot has ever made any greentexts. This is the first and last time he's tripfagged on here, so unless we get an itemized list he's blowing hot air out of his ass. And as you mentioned, even if it was true he wrote a shit ton of greentexts, greentexts aren't prose writing (which the majority of books are) anyhow. Ironically, greentexts are easier for AI to do because of just how low effort they are (I've tested this myself). If you write greentexts, you have no pretension as a writer because they allow you to skip all the in-betweens of writing.
>>
>>43026270
It's literally just the last few threads that have been overrun with attention. Like you know there are more murders in the summer because its hot and the downstream effect makes people more angry. Something similar is happening probably because of anger at Opus PrefillGate.

exactly, you need to write 30000 different filler scenes by hand without >skip forward 3 days hacks

I'd guess no public proxy is also playing a role, people shitpost more when they don't have access to their favorite models.
>>
>>43026286
kek, no offense anon, but it is kinda true, the line by line format lets you skip tying together all the focuses of a scene. I still think most writefags are cool though, even if they're not professional writing level.
>>
lol the lunatics ai brings out I swear.
>feels threatened by a machine doing your job
>your not a REAL **** unless ****
>>
>>43026068
I believe myself to be a writer the same way George Lucas is a writer. I have really interesting ideas, but I fucking suck at executing them, hence why I use AI to execute them for me and tweak to my liking. I'd love to be able to actually execute my ideas well, but I don't have much confidence in my ability to do so.
>>
>>43026274
That's retarded, greentext writers are writers. If you think otherwise then you haven't read the dreck that people sell as books nowadays.
>>
>>43026252
>>43026282
It's the usual suspects that ruin the AI threads on other boards. As a filthy tourist I want to remind you fillyenjoyers to hide and ignore the trolls, especially the non quoted or five word replies. The more you interact with them the more they'll spam. You guys are one of the last true bastions of good on this basket weaving forum. But enough metafaggotry from me.

How is the supposedly improved 4.6pus context treating you guys? In the Benchmemes it looked really good but I haven't gotten around to testing myself due to being in no-privacy hell
>>
>>43026298
I agree, they are writers, but greentext writers are not technically impressive writers (which is the part AI often does) is what I was getting at. It's writing, but a simplified kind of writing.

I mean, I don't plan on writing a book or ever publishing something like FoE, but that feels just like fimfiction obtuse rule of banning greens "because". And I'm sure you read some of the shit that's posted there.
Still, oof...

>>43026289
Some Anons focus more on conversation, others on setting the scene, but doing one or another doesn't mean it's bad because it's not formatted traditionally.
Have you read Janitor Anon? Shape Your Home and #Deca.mare history? Steel Sanctuary from Technology isn't magic? There's a lot of good greens out there, long ones too, and often you can see their growth as writers as the history progresses.
I think greens is a valid way to tell histories myself, but most normies just want the conventional way.
Also, heh, poetry. Just thought of that one. That's pretty far from "normal" too if you think about it.

>writefags never ever write anonymously on le anonymous image board
I'm only using a trip here so none of my posts can be faked by some malicious seether here. I have multiple drafts of my stories and my partially collected works on ponepaste under the name Grey if you want to see that I know what I'm talking about. No, I don't think of myself as "Shakespeare" as some might put it but I have put in work over the years and I have the credentials to add my two cents to AI even when it falls on deaf ears. I was heated but I've cooled off now and I probably shouldn't have written that while angry but what's done is done. Writing greentexts is easier than traditional Western fiction writing, but it's not different than saying writing haikus is easier than writing other types of poetry. It's still a legitimate form of writing.
>>
>>43026318
>Also, heh, poetry.
They are on the level of their own, far above us lowly mortals, writers and non-writers both.
>>
>>43026323
Can I just ask why you went ballistic when more than half of the quotes you quoted said they don't consider themselves writers at all when doing this?
>>

>Steel Sanctuary from Technology isn't magic?
Holy shit I fucking love Steel Sanctuary, it's literally my favorite greentext of all time and it's had an impact on my autis- er, I mean, beliefs on technology. I've wanted to make a card on it for the longest time. I don't think I've seen anyone here ever mention the old Technology Isn't Magic threads in the years I've been here, did you use to post in that general too? How long have you been in /chag/?
