His music prioritizes showing off his technique and speed as an individual instead of focusing on the composition or interplay as a whole band. In most of what I've seen from the other musicians only serve as a backing track for him.

Even though he plays jazz influenced music he still very much fits into the shredder mold of guitarists.

Mancuso plays dime a dozen fusion. His technique is second to none but the music he makes is pretty unremarkable beyond the fact that him playing it is a physically impressive achievement.
