I've never actually listened to Neutral Milk Hotel, but I've been telling people on the internet that they fucking suck for years
>>121565131only one good song in this album
I listened when i was 15. Didn't get it. Never listened again. Shit on it everytime it's brought up. Don't remember a single note.
>>121565232>Shit on it everytime it's brought upThey get super pissed off when you do that, and I figure they wouldn't be getting so defensive about it unless it was true.
i listened to it for the first time a couple weeks ago. it was alright. not really fuss-worthy though. i liked the song about anne frank. it makes sense because she was deaf and the whole song was essentially made for deaf people.
>>121565131why do excellent melodies still make /mu/ seethe
>>121565131On Avery Island is their best album.
>>121565131i wonder why this board rarely talks about it anymore
>>121565596The normies started saying it was good and /mu/ is full of contrarians
>>121565131Pretentious goyslop
>>121565500Checked and kek'd>>121565131You'd have the same opinion if you listened to it desu
>>121565575you are trying too hard
>>121565596It's seen a decline in popularity mostly because people have caught on to how cheesy it is
>>121565500Anne Frank wasn't deaf!
>>121570027This. It's too emotionally sincere for the ironic generation(s)

>>121565131Same but also the beatles and kendrick lamar
>>121565232I vaguely recall they played the C note a few times on the album
>>121571754you say this but it's mostly zoomers that like it nowadays and the millenials that've turned on it
>>121565596overshadowed by black asses and billie eilish discussing the pH levels of her vaginal fluids
>>121565131I own several of their albums and I can confirm they do. Luckily I have the required amount of brain damage to enjoy them.
