Why did normies turn on this song?
It was played everywhere then all of a sudden everyone hated it. The lyrics aren’t even rapey, I don’t get it

Women are tired of being treated like sex objects in videos
>>
>>121589820
LMAO
>>
>>121589803
Not really. The I know you want it isn’t that rapey. You can pick up when someone wants to have sex through body language. It’s not like he’s saying I don’t care if you want it.

Because Marvin Gaye’s estate won the plagiarism lawsuit

women wish they could be hot, have huge racks with hourglass figures, and be objectified?
>>
>>121589915
Yeah, plus the song sounds lighthearted and fun. There's nothing "threatening" about it
>>
>>121589915
people who don't have sex don't know this so they just think it means rapey. They don't understand that a woman can playfully say 'no' but don't really mean it.
>>
>t. I was 14 when this song came out.
No one really liked this song. No one played it themselves. It was on the radio and it was kinda catchy but you wouldn't catch anyone putting it on. You might look it up because you thought Emily was pretty but then when people started talking about how it's kinda rapey you were just like oh yeah and you forgot about it. The song died organically.
>>
People only ever cared about this song or the video because of Emrata's GOAT bare titties

women too?

t. never hung out with girls

The song and video are stupid
I will never understand why you retards will listen to shitty music for some hot chicks when you could just watch porn at any time. Jerk off and move on with your life.
>>
>>121591059
This applies to much of what /nu/mu/ thinks people liked. It's why they're so obsessed with Steely Dan and so obsessed with Taylor Swift. Unironically trying to larp like they were (there idea of) "cool" circa like 2010.
>>
>>121589643
Normies are basically a type of people that do whatever their masters order them to do. They don’t have a sense of self.
>>
>>121589711
Ofc, that’s why when I’m out buck breaking I look for the ones with the juiciest backsides

Robin Thicke is Vanilla Ice
>White guy in a majority black music genre
>One hit eclipses all others
>Get in a lawsuit over the hit song
>People turn on him for no reason
>Is sort of a washup now
>>
None of what’s been listed ITT, although the Vanilla Ice comparison is pretty good granted Thicke had a 00s hit in Lost Without You. Thicke lost his star when he did the 1.) VMA performance with Miley Cyrus twerking on him that was considered tasteless at the time, pretty standard now 2.) cheated on his wife and made a follow up album entitled Paula (her name) which was presumably a bunch of love songs made in atonement for her. Fans didn’t like it in contrast to the sexy funky Pharrell-laden tune.

>>Get in a lawsuit over the hit song
it was produced by pharrell who has a long history of ripping off other people. without chad hugo, pharrell is literally talentless.

>Robin Thicke is Vanilla Ice
kinda yeah. ice ice baby sampled queen but he settled early on and handed over royalties. what fucked ice up later was suge knight forcing him to sign over the rights of the album to death row as one of their artists wrote most of the album and never got credited (or paid) for it, which eventually funded death row. shockingly vanilla ice did more for music industry than thicke could ever achieve.
>>
that song was annoying as fucking shit
good riddance
>>
>>121589643
It was obviously a parody making fun of sleazy guys, but i guess major populace is too autistic to understand that
>>
>>121595741
it was annoying because payola forced it to be played everywhere. literally a forced meme paid for by record companies.
>>
>>121589820
Which is why they do it to themselves.
>>
>>121589667
Jessie J says the same thing in Bang Bang.

post-nut clarity after witnessing that lady's nice boobies

Why do they accept these roles then?

Hilarious to hear Ratajkowski bitch about this video, when the only reason anyone has ever heard about her is because she showed her tits in it
