guess i'll post some billlie concert impressions. crowd was fairly high energy, 80+ % female and trended towards the late teens and early 20s but there were people in their 30s too. every girl had their dedicated fans, which was nice and visibly made them happy. place wasn't too packed and poorly ventilated though, which was a bummer. it was a fairly basic affair too, no costume changes, zero props, just a screen with generic visualizations.the setlist was very tightly organized, split up by several MC sections, unit stages, and VCRs they used to let the others go backstage to get their touchups. it made for a fairly segmented experience but i guess it can't be helped since their songs and performances are very intense. billlie have one of the best discographies in gen 4 IMHO so when they performed it was banger after banger after banger. even weaker songs like soul savior and lionheart went hard live. everyone killed it. don't really want to point out anyone out in particular since i genuinely think they're all very talented and perform on a very high level. but i have to mention tsuki was born for the stage, absolute animal, especially considering she seemed to have a bad head cold and could hardly speak. haram and suhyeon's live vocals were tremendous.halfway through i realized this was the first concert i attended without live instrumentation, and i guess it was part of the reason the experience felt somehow incomplete. but they still have a ton of great songs and perform hard and well. getting to experience one of the best currently active kpop groups up close in a small venue is well worth the (very affordable) admission.
