I am firm on the stance that it's better to make stuff for the sake of making it and not caring at all about how it fits in with other music. You just gotta write for fun and experiment with stuff you find interesting. Eventually you'll have a good pool to pull from of stuff that sounds good and that you know how to do, and maybe at that point you can try and make something other people can tap into, but until that point just keep being stoked about music and have fun recording your own stuff. Don't stop growing and keep building inspiration

that's normal IMO. It takes months to even get perspective on anything I wrote.
Just for fun though, force yourself to do 1 day projects. Next time you stumble upon an idea that you think is cool, just force yourself to end up with something finished by the end of the day, not polished or perfected but just done, a full song. Save the file and move on. Some of my favorite shit I've ever made was done this way. If the end result is something really good that you think you want to publish on a release or something, you can always re-record or polish it afterward and you don't have to engage with the writing side at that point
