At this point, her husband speaks up, asking the agent what he considers "crossing the line on social media" to warrant a visit.>The agent explains that "technically, obviously, you have freedom of speech," but that the USSS determines that a "direct threat" like "I will go kill the president" or "statements like that" would constitute crossing the line, but those kinds of statements present "a different threshold" at which point the agency would involve U.S. prosecutors.
