Why can't we mutts have nice things like pic-related? :(
>>

Subcompact hatchbacks are poor people's cars that normies laugh at here. You'd get bullied off the road by some drunk driver in a RAM and some soccer mom in a Yukon XL in a heartbeat.
That's not to shit talk the Twingo and similar cars but you have to look at it from a mass market (normie) point of view
>>
Why can't we europoors have cars that handle this good? :(

He didn't like tacos, he ate chicken thighs, tuna and premium catfood. A female cat was always outside my room and most likely went to breed her.

>twingos old enough to import
tell me why I shouldn't
>>
>>27586734
Have to import the car itself (spend up to 2k on a clean one, spend a few thousand shipping it over, another thousand on all the paperwork and getting it registered), then have to deal with absolutely zero local parts availability so anything more specific than oil or sparkplugs has to be imported from South America or Europe and you get to deal with international shipping and all the fees that come along with that.
It'd completely eliminate the insane value proposition, which is one of its biggest selling points in its domestic markets. Still a well-designed, reliable, fuel-efficient car that looks unlike anything else on the road, but you're pretty much spending thousands of dollars on memes.

Definitely worth it to a collector, but the lack of sunroof is a serious flaw, even if it's the only one

>>27589348
AC and sunroof could be specced together, but it's an extremely rare combo, especially if you also want a nice color and neat interior patterns.
And there's also that 55hp pushrod motor, looks like that one's from right before the changeover to the OHC engines.
>>
>>27586433
The suspension is too weak to properly hold you fatasses
>>
>>27589358
Yeah that's what my mum had back then
>very early phase1 model
>sunroof+AC that eats up half the hp
>and, fairly popular early on, dealer installed two tone option with the bumpers, wheels and mirrors in contrasting colour. In our case it was dark blue + yellow
It's weird, I swear most early Twingos were two tone and in pretty heinous combos, but I can't find a single pic of one

I know exactly which ones you mean, too. I miss when manufacturers would have fun options on their cheap cars.

Just get a Honda Fit.
Parts are cheap, has similar dimensions, and they stopped production in North America so you can still feel unique.

>they hated him because he spoke the truth
That's exactly why subcompacts do very poorly. It could fulfill every purpose the average American owner needs and wants but it's simply not a larger car. Bigger = Better.

It's a shame, because those subcompacts were the unsung heroes of the cheap new car segment that got wrenchlets to where they needed to be. Now they contend with cars nearly triple the price or roll the dice with a used car they don't know how to inspect.
