Driver. Didn't install NHRA approved throttle springs to prevent stuck throttle, and didn't install brakes specc'd to the horsepower his engine was making all but ensuring brake failure, then rode his brakes ensuring total boomer catastrophe.

Hi Russ
>>
>>27606525
Tell me Anonymous, do you really believe Russ would waste his time on this dead shithole?
He's probably servicing some Playboy bunny type while you try to find him in this crappy forum.

Spit it out kid, how many cars have you built? How many divorces have you gone through?
How many ratchet shifters have you operated?

Zero? Zilch? Zip? Nada? Is that right?

Of course, you probably can barely afford your bus tickets, chump.
One Wilwood caliper in Russ' car is worth more than the clapped out Kia you allow yourself to dream of owning one day.

And had you been in his place, you would have done worse, at least he bought some time swerving. Hindsight is 20/20.

For someone who spent the previous night banging his broad to the Grateful Dead in his boat rather than sleeping his reactions were quick. But a virgin like you wouldn't know anything about that.

You sit on the bench all your life, while guys like Russ play the field and make history. Sometimes you get hurt, but like my old man used to say "can't win if you don't play".
>>
>>27606772
Building a death machine and rear-ending a family of four isn't something to be proud of, Russ. It would've been better for you to sit this one out on the bench.

>>27606772

>>
>>27606902
Yikes, why are you so obssessed with Russ? Are you one of those nutjobs who belong in an institution?

I just know a guy who knows Russ and talked to him about the accident.

My name's Dennis. Anyways, how are those Kia dreams coming along, virgin? Have you downgraded your dreams from a clapped out Optima to a clapped out Spectra yet?

>>27606948
I wish I could, but I'm enjoying other pleasures at the moment (cruise).

>I just know a guy who knows Russ and talked to him about the accident.
Bullshit. How'd you know so many details about his sex life? It's more likely that you were sitting in the cuck chair watching him do his business with your woman. That's exactly the kind of person who'd defend a maniac like Russ.
>>
>>27607046
Because those were his words, that he was absolutely drained that day from boning that lass the entire night.
And that it was an ironic twist of fate he had been listening to Caution (don’t stop on the tracks) many times that night.
>>
>>27607046
And I defend him because no one's free from having that happen to him, you don't know what you don't know. It was unexpected to end up like that, things seemed fine until they weren't.

>>
>>27605411
>Who was in the wrong here?

The driver on every conceivable level.

He built an unsafe car with insufficient brakes and seat belts for how powerful it was and a transmission that didn't give him the option of throwing the car in neutral. His throttle was sticking forcing him to ride his brakes and he kept driving until the brakes went out and he no longer had any way of stopping the car. And finally when the throttle did stick he generally handled the situation poorly and ended up plowing into the back of another car at full speed instead of driving off the road as quickly as possible.

>The calipers/discs weren't the problem here, it was the boiling brake fluid.
You're saying the undersized steel brakes couldn't absorb the heat and it was transferred to the brake fluid? That's a weird conflation with Porsche CCBs fading. According to the owner the brakes were done 17 years prior, he "should've gone bigger" and there was old fluid in the system.

because he is a fucking idiot and has no busy operating anything with an engine in it...literally all he had to do was turn off the engine and down shift into 1st gear...instead he leaves the engine running and attempts to shift it into park and shells out the transmission and then fully locks his arms out right before impact...the guy is a fucking retard and I hope the people he crashed into sued the fuck out of him since he posted the video of showing this whole incident was due to his retardation. He was riding the brakes for along time before this crash because the either the engine was idling too high or the throttle was partial stuck...instead of stopping he keeps driving around until the brakes are smoked and then crashes into a bunch of stopped cars at a stop light.
