Whats the overall best 2L engine car in terms of engine power, durability, and fuel consumption thats under 20k euro in the EU? I need something that doesn't require service all the time or breaks down too often. What should I get?

Honda K20.
200hp+, 200,000+ miles easily with oil changes and minimal fucks, 24-28ish mpg depending on variable factors

I'm not trying to build a shitbox. I need something that isn't ancient. It needs to be something from 2014, 15. Honda k20 is ancient, the mileage on even the newest ones are probably in the high 200k miles.

Why not just buy a Golf GTI?

Mazda Skyactiv-G 2.0liter. Nissan 2.0liter is second alternative.

Toyota 2.0liter is the 3rd option.

Why are you reccommending me petrol engines? Kek

Because your retarded ass didn't specify that? Maybe if you didn't drink diesel from the tap you'd have thought to mention that.

Now politely fuck off.

Next time you make a thread, you should explicitly mention the fact that you're a diesel loving VAG faggot

You want the engine for under 20ke or the whole car with said engine?

The Mazda engines are so slow. I tested the Mazda 3 with the Skyactiv-X and it had no power. The auto gearbox was incredibly slow to kick down as well. Corolla 2 litre is a far better option.

A lot of euro reviews seem to be saying that Mazda auto gearboxes feel sluggish and people should buy manual if they want to enjoy driving.
How did the gearbox behave when accelerating? Was it letting the engine rev the way it should?

>require service all the time or breaks down too often

Generally more frequent servicing leads to less repairs and breakdown.

Ford TDCi or VW TDI

There are tons of 2.0l engines made by those same companies. Which ones are you talking about?

So the auto gearbox is actually fine if you want a relaxing drive and don't care about having fun, the sluggishness isn't a problem but driving spiritedly, you're going to hate it. When accelerating it would rev out and not upshift too early but like I said previously, the kick down is so slow I feel I could downshift much faster if it was a manual box. My corolla 2l can go from 40mph to 60mph in the time it takes the mazda to figure out what the hell it wants to do with the gears.

Literally any golden ration 2L
