In a similar manner I nominate the Eldorado from Fear and Loathing complete with drug-filled trunk (of which, the IRL White Whale was actually a Deville Convertible instead)

I love Columbo's shitbox Peugeot 403. Everyone in the show always gives him shit for driving around such a beater.
>>
>>27637476

Columbo's 1959 Peugeot 403. Over the course of the series it goes from being a comedic unreliable shitbox to being a comedic unreliable shitbox that Columbo loves and cherishes as a supposed "classic".

Its /o/ incarnate.

That's an early episode. It almost looks respectable there. It gets progressively more beat to shit as the series goes on.

Yeah, by the end it was pretty fucked. The increasingly common remarks from the other characters about how much of a shitbox it is, and Columbo just shrugging them off always make me laugh. Extremely realistic portrayal of the shitbox ownership experience.

True, but I don't think they have the same subtle but sultry "temptress" look that the '58 plymouth does. She's more of a Marilyn Monroe than a Cruella de Vil, and the Plymouth's lines really work for that role.

WRONG!!!

A 1989 Chrysler LeBaron in 1995 Seinfeld is a 6 year old car. The modern equivalent would be someone driving a 2018 Buick Cascada - pic related
