Might improve stereo system functionality. if its one of those piece of shit modern stereo's that is always connected to the internet then updating the firmware becomes more important so it wont be hacked & turned into secret spam email sending bot unit.Look for possible update changes log first, because if its available then it gives some details about what the update does for your device.

>>27644553Depends on if nothing is glitched and everything is working perfect, my Pioneer was actually glitches out of the box, if you disconnected a BT device or it got out of range, it couldn't remember to reconnect even if the device was in memory, then after I updated the firmware, (had patch notes about BT memory) it now memorizes and remembers to connect to phones in its memory.
