my wife is getting her motorcycle license in WA state
to do this you have to
>take a class that costs several hundred dollars to get your PERMIT
or
>pay several hundred dollars to take the permit test with no class
THEN
>have to go to DOL to get permit put on your license
THEN
>take endorsement class that costs several hundred more dollars once license with permit is obtained
or
>pay several hundred dollars for endorsement test with no class
THEN
>get another fucking license that says you have your endorsement

this is about the dumbest setup I have ever even heard of.
When I got my license 20 years ago, I went to a class on a saturday, rode bikes all day saturday and sunday, and left the class without having to do literally anything else except update my license.

you aren't wrong, but to me at least, it seems as if they half assed what it could have been.
They just didn't seem to fully commit.
If it had all the bells and whistles and performance capability with fully upgraded everything, I could see paying $14,000 for it.
I don't really want to buy a bike that right off the bat you have to upgrade damn near everything to make it fancy.
but at this point im benchracing so my opinion doesnt matter.

I spent all weekend trying to wrap my bike, just to see if I could do it and I gained a whole lot of respect for people that have the patience for that shit.

I'm definitely not a nobike, I just wish Kawasaki had fully committed to making it the best it could be, even at the cost of a higher price point, albeit that would likely have been detrimental to sales overall.

Yes, however you now have a big list of things to check to make sure it's in good order.
>Wheel bearings
>Steering stem bearings
>Fork and shock fluid
>All fluids for that matter (engine, coolant, brake)
>Suspension linkages
>Valve clearances
>Lube throttle and clutch cables
>Carb clean and adjust (check forums)
>Air filter
>Clean under the front sprocket cover
And probably more stuff. I'd slowly work through the list, then you'll know it's all good.
Also, I've heard that using a heat gun on the plastics can help remove the white, faded look.

When I got my license 20ish years ago in Mass it was a three step process. First take a 20 question multiple choice exam about generic traffic laws. Once you get 14 correct it automatically stops you and you get a permit. Then ride any motorcycle wherever you want as long as you don’t ride with a passenger or between midnight and 5am. Ride between midnight and 5am anyway though. Do this for as long as you want. Lastly take an easy 5 minute road test whenever you feel like it and get a full endorsement.

remember the end game of the globalist elite is a restriction on mobility. they want to control how far and how fast you can go at any given moment. dont forget that r6 has a larger fuel tank than r7 and higher top speed desptie being smaller. nothing against r7s but it just highlights the slow erosion of personel mobility that is coming.

Wait until you hear about the process to turn crude oil into gasoline, and transport it to your pump. Anytime someone suddenly pretends to "care about the environment" when electric is brought up is arguing in bad faith. A hole in the ground and shit air quality in the evaporation pools is a drop in the bucket, but electric cars/bikes are just green washing the automotive industry anyway, so I'd like to drop that point and focus on another one: The process to make ANY vehicle or even metal or rubber part is very complicated. If you are that terrified of a truly totalitarian scenario where "mobility is limited" you should be buying a fucking bicycle and vacuum-sealing some sets of tires, tubes, chains, and bearings. If you want a form of motorized transport, something electric that you purchase ONCE and then something to charge it like solar panels that you purchase ONCE and then you just have the ability to regenerate power for your emergency supply runs/escape attempts seems way more feasible than buying/assembling an entire setup to make your own biofuel/ethanol/alcohol/whatever abd modifying your fuel sustem accordingly.

My money's on Zero anon, at least he doesn't roleplay as a rich guy while having a job even niggers run from and he actually rides a bike, even if electric lmao

Didn't you just post "dirtbikes are for kids" and now you're bragging about having one? Fuckin'" loser

I bet you could nigrig an oil refinery Mad Max style more easily than an electric farm, since even solar panels are expensive to produce/repair and have a more limited lifespan.

It's not that hard if you do it wet but still took ~4 hours for a full wrap. You DID do a wet wrap, right?
>>
>>27778411
Yea zero posts streamies too sometimes. Zero if you're reading this do some gymkahana figure 8s with that thing I bet it's good at it since it can't stall or have the engine surging from operating it at too low of rpms. Make sure to record it.

How the fuck does canadian tire not sell anything related to changing fuck shit fucking tires? It's in the name. If you want a chinese tire iron that will snap in half before you even get all your car's lugnuts off then it's great, but tire spoons or balance weights? Might as well stay home and fuck myself there.
Car quest might have them but they aren't open sunday and won't be open tomorrow because it's fuck the indians day. I want to ride.
>>
>>27778421
Where are you going to get the oil? How long do you plan on living in this terrifying/terrible totalitarian dictatorship? Are you buying it from a foreign country? Can you establish an underground (figuratively) trade route that skirts border patrol? How about filters? Are you part of a resistance effort, or are you just trying to get your loved ones out? This whole "I don't want globohomo to control me/box me in" is just that faggot "zombie survival vehicle" shit but for Joe Rogan listeners.
>>
>>27778426
I just don't like being artificially limited, and I believe the less control you give "them" the better. Also, I've never listened to Joe Rogan, qrd?

>>
>>27778445
Ok so you work at a rig, do you have a well defended perimeter and arms, as well as a friendly supply line? No to any of those? Then this supposed globohomo can waltz right in and shut the operation down.
>>
>>27778051
Better cooling = better braking
>>
Bros is 27 too old to learn to ride?
>>
>>27778453
Globohomo can shut the whole operation down by means of a court order printed on a piece of paper, no violence needed. That's kinda scary.
>>
>>27778421
This is incredibly easy to do if you have the surveying to know where to look
Its all the corpo faggotry and red tape that gets in the way of industrialization for the common man as far as resource extraction goes
>>27778426
Any instance this becomea an actual apocalypse, returning to beasts of burden is the wises choice
I nominate goats because theyll eat anything and arent afraid of much things, and donkeys/camels for transport depending on your region

Also if anon would study isis he would know how rogue state agents keep their oil and gas flowing for profiting their stste terrorism etc.

The Middle East has a wide variety of different countries and alliances to buy supplies from due to being relatively centrally located between Africa, Russia, South Asia, and Eastern Europe. North America has two relatively friendly powers, USA and Canada, and Mexico is less friendly to the USA but not hostile by any means. All 3 have fairly strong water/port security and good fucking luck getting supplies in by air. Your only real option is to get stuff from a cartel.

>>
>>27778477
Range? For how long can it sustain those 40 mph without catching fire?
>>
>>27778483
Cruising RPM doesn't usually blow up batteries, a failure in the charging system or physical damage is what does them in.
>>
>>27778480

Sounds like a decent way to start out. I can't speak to the price.
>unridden
Does it run? Can he crank it up and rev the engine for you? How bad does the gas tank smell?
>>
>>27778491
Don't bother. What you should do is balance the wheel before you put a tyre on. You'll find that you almost never need to rebalance the wheel after mounting a tyre. Especially if you're diligent about aligning the mark on the tyre with the valve stem

Guy changed all fluids before sticking the sign on it, and he did start it up very easily when I asked him to, i’ll go by tomorrow AM and scout it out again and see what the gas tank is like. It’s not entirely unridden, it has I think 150 miles on it. Guy is 75 and just putted around town on it till this year
>>
>>27778507
Got pics?
Where was it stored if it was not being ridden? Does it have fluids in it? How long have they been there? Tyre condition?
You DO NOT want a bike that has to be rebuilt as your first one.
