Best damn Chrysler I've ever seen!
>>28116204They don't make em like they used to
Love my Chrysler Belair.
after driving the camaro with the 350 for 3 whole miles, the ztard now wants to build a 400 using the 305 crank and is in denial he's retarded. wont be seeing the other half of that rod for some time, he's working on his s130 this weekend and i get to drive to topeka again
>>28115987It took you 4 years to do what I suggested
>>28116353It was one of those things that I didn't know how bad it was since I've always had trash on it but now I'm like, I should have done this day one
>>28116073I see what you did there...
>>28116429What a stupid ass wrenchlet
this retard was on motortrend's payroll? no wonder they finally had to shut it all down
I was having a discussion with an acquaintance about the ultimate '70s car and told him that what he wants is a Mark V with manualwindows. He said he wanted a BOF car with a big block, manual windows, 4 wheel disc brakes, posi, AT, AC, and RWD.
>>28117080Yup. One of those things where, even if you avoid the guy, people will still send you BS they do. Do you know how many times I was sent pic related?
>>28117087i was at a gas station in my F150 and some guy just started blabbering about how he was the biggest fan of VGG and how he would hot rod a truck like that. Inescapable. He said roadkill got cancelled which made me look for their channel and find out he has a show there.
>>28117083>Mark V with a lockerlmao
>>28117199It was an option; if you had a K code axle, you had a Traction-Lok 2.75 rear. If you had an O code, it was a Traction-Lok 3.00 unit.
>>28117211Traction-Lok=!=LockerOne is quite a bit smoother than the other, I mean just look at the ratchet, which is why the idea of a luxury car with a locker was funny.
пpивeт тoвapищи,I decided to cut open the whole rocker panel and redo everything completely instead of just hiding the mess underneath fresh metal. There's a ton of the motherland and probably some other countries clay behind the perforated beam and it's in there packed tight, tried blasting it out with air to no avail? Anyone got any good ideas how to get all the shit out from there without cutting the whole body open behind the perforated steel? I was thinking about maybe using the strategically placed rust hole in the rear wheel well to fit in a wire wheel brush of some sort with an extended shaft to get all the dirt loose, then blast it with compressed air?
>>28117471Needle scaler
>>28117512Doesn't reach behind the perforated metal part.
>>28116073Found a new boomerism today>Same Boring Crap - Lame Substitute>SBC - LS
He was able to fish em out from the top
Rods broke in 3 places, there's still a missing section
Only thing you can feel on the bearings are the places where theyve been beaten
>>28117738And this pic tells the tale that I expected. One of the rod bolt nuts came loose. If it hadn't it would look like the one on the right there that's still together.
>>28117806You think he spun the stud in the rod?
>>28117814The shoulder on the bolt isn't supposed to allow for that, though I suppose if the bolt isn't completely seated it could. Not finding a pic quickly that shows that area, but you can see it on the other side if you want.
>2018 Corolla iM >literally no aftermarket shocks or strut assemblies exist, have to go dealer or get some 2015 scion TC parts and massage them to fit >1979 Camaro >7 trillion aftermarket suspension parts availableLmao is this real life.
>>28117863The modern world is gay, yes.
>>28117863>Chassis with dedicated following that has seen many years of continued aftermarket support has better selection than a relatively new econoboxHumans breathe air, water is wet, and rocks are hard. More at 11:00.
>>28117909Wife’s 2017 Corolla has dozens of aftermarket shocks and struts. Just my specific trim gets the shaft lol
>>28117806I concur. Unless you find the other bolt with the nut still attached, that's what happened. Who built the bottom end?
>>28117829>>28118358Z tard, and probably at 3 in the morning after a double shift. It doesn't surprise me he fucked it up again.
>>28117455Ah. Gotcha. I was thinking in the context of my discussion; but, now, I'm envisioning a Mark V with a manual swap, built 460, lake pipes, and fat rear tires. If I got YouTube money, I'd be doing that shit with it.
>>28119290And now I'm like "Hmmm, NASCAR Mark V...."pic related I didn't know existed until today
>>28119375The NASCAR Imperial was pretty cool, too.
>>28119375>>28119388Beautyousness from before NASCAR going completely off the rails
>>28119395NASCAR peaked in the '60s and died in the '80s. I wish there were a website that would play all the old races from the '50s through the '80s so you could see what used to make it cool and uniquely Anerican.
Bronco's spider gears have Totally stripped out. I'm gonna have to replace the locker by the looks of it
>>28120141Is that the rear end you rebuilt a couple of years ago? Where your oil pan got damaged or something like that? Or this a different bronco guy
>>28120162Different bronco guy, I was off-roading and suddenly I didn't have any front drive and I had to get helped off the trail. I finally pulled the front diff cover and found all the teeth sitting in the front diff case. I haven't done a differential yet so I'm a bit nervous
>>28120196Dang that sucks bro. I think I have a ford diff lying around so I might be able to provide specs if there’s something you can’t readily google
>>28120221>>28120196>>28120141Sound like a D44 front.
>>28120221>>28120226Ford diff book* my bad I typo’d it. I think I also have a Dana diff book. I can look through my library later
>>28120221I shouldn't have any issues finding specs on the thing. I guess I just need tools to do it right>>28120226Its a dana 30>>28120247That'd be helpful
>>28120308>Its a dana 30TIME TO UPGRADE
