Whenever someone talks about one of them, they tack on "...Plus it's a hatch!" as if that's a good thing.Am I being gaslit? Is everyone pretending? Am I not in on the joke? How does anyone look at a hatchback and think it looks anything but ugly? How on earth is this bodystyle considered "sporty"? I know that taste is subjective, but I feel like you need to do some serious mental gymnastics to convince yourself that hatchbacks look cool in any way, shape, or form.
In the mid '00s they were rare in the US. Kind of a neat oddity. Basically it just the Golf for a while.I have a hatchback, I don't think they look that great but it's got a whole lotta cargo space. The appeal is that they're usually lighter than most other cars.To me saying "it's a hatch" doesn't tell me anything on its own.
>>28118648They're cute and easy to park
>Am I being gaslit? Is everyone pretending? Am I not in on the joke?Yes. Hatchbacks are indeed ugly as fuck.
>>28118648utilitarian slop. fine. but i prefer sedans with a proper trunk
>>28118648less weight, shorter footprint, more practical, better aero, subjectively better looksthere are very few cars I think are better as sedans/coupes.
>call it a hatchback>give it 4 doorsanother amerislop atrocity
>>28118648a rear door that hinges at the roofline is far superior to a trunk. are you the type of person that values how you look, over what you do?
I can fit a fridge in my Golf. I will not tell you how.
>>28118648no idea, they're all ugly, slow and GAY as FUCK
I prefer fastbacks. Unless they are crossovers. Fastback crossovers are the ugliest thing second only to crossover coupés which I am not entirely sure they exist outside my nightmares.
>>28118648i like the civic i suppose. the styling on the back is more aggressive than the sedan or coupe. it looks cool from the back but retarded from the side. corollas okay too, but i think thats more because i dont like the corolla sedan much. as for everything else, not a fan. would be useful to have more room for my bike though, it barely fits folded in my trunk
>>28119116kek, "based," parlance to use our times thereofall right i gotta get some in n out burger now
You already paid aerodynamics tax on the front profile of the car, you might as well get all the cargo room possible from there
>>28118648variants > hatchbacksFight me.
>>28119407depends. I have both.
>>28118648Extra space
