Misleading title is misleading. 2026 allocations were under 500 globally. Underwhelming for a company that sells 14000 cars a year. This number also includes, or is made entirely, of prepurchase deposits and not actual purchases. It could also be entirely made up. Ferrari previously reported that they sold out of all 88 Chinese allocations but investigators called several Chinese Ferrari dealerships who said they still had reservations open.
What were we wrong about?That it's a bastardization of Ferrari and ugly at most angles?That it's a 4-door EV that's so tall to fit the battery pack that they painted a black stripe at the bottom to give the illusion of a thinner side profile?Or that it's an automatic AWD EV with the same shape as most other EVs 1/20th the price while not performing that much better than ones 1/10th its price?Nothing screams "Ferrari" like an AWD 4-door one-speed.They can sell a million of them and all that is still correct.
