It is not a truck if it has four doors.You don't need the extra space for your family. My siblings and I all grew up in a regular cab GMT400. All you are going to do is fill the backseat up with your junk and/or giving people rides when you really don't want to.The 2-door coupe truck is the way and the family sedan "truck" needs to die.

>>29122107Half ton trucks don't have the payload capacity to properly use a 8ft bed. Sure they can comfortably fit a sheet of plywood or drywall but pour something like gravel or mulch in there and you will immediately hit your limit. Don't get me started on anything like a 8ft truck camper. These days it makes more sense for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks to have 8ft beds wheel half tons should be crew cab multi purpose vehicles. Half ton single can long beds are the Incel of trucks if they arnt fleet vehicles.
