Most European countries have bad national parks unless they have mountains. Problem is that most of thier land was already taken into agricultural production before the idea of a national parks was even introduced. Ukraine, being a relatively flat and fertile country, probably had virtually no virgin land by that point. Still looks like it was a beautiful country prior to the invasion though. Russians go home

Forest fires have been a natural phenomenon for as long as forests have existed and are very important for forest growth, as they both return nutrients to the soil, allow new healthy growth, and prevent future wildfires from spreading uncontrollably.
