First post here, just wanted to ask for any stories of trips to the great outdoors you've had with a romantic partner or loved one. There was a thread like this in january, and it made my whole year, so, please, share some of yours. I'll start with a couple screencaps from the previous one I found breathtaking/wonderful. Alright, I'll give mine to get the ball rolling. May not be as interesting, but still an experience. I'm sure those older and wiser of you have much better stories.>be me, 14m>go to sports camp, sweat my ass off, put out completely>still chubby>day 7/10 of camp, one of the girls complements my rad spiderman towel>thank her, think nothing of it>last day, she comes into the room I'm staying in while I'm packing>ask to trade numbers, I oblige, tell her I'd love to drink tea some time together>a week later, we meet up for rollerskating(outside, not in a rink)>talk along the way, get to know eachother>we skate so far we go from city center to outskirts, where I live>there's a nice place by the lake I know about, go there>take out picnic blanket and tea out of backpack>I brought a tea set and some home cooked pie>she brought some store bought stuff, city girl I guess>the perfect time and place for a picnic>swans on the lake and everything>even starts raining a little while we're under the tree foliage, romantic as hell>do nothing, first time seeing her, hell, it was my first proper date ever>she keeps on talking and showing pictures, I'm just looking off into the lake>after we drink the tea, we go on and I follow her to her bus stop>my dumb sweaty ass goes for a hug>have to skate 10k home afterwardsNothing happened, went quiet. Not like my porn addicted younger self could even love or have a romantic relationship anyways, glad I'm better now though.

I'm doing 1 night out with a girl from the climbing gym next week. I asked about just doing a day trip to go bouldering and she suggested we make it an overnight thing. I told her I'd take care of the camping gear, and that I normally just drag my crash pad into my tent and sleep on that under a blanket and she said 'That works for me :)'. I had no expectations that this was going to be a romantic kind of thing but now I'm about 90% convinced she expects it to be.
