Looking for an abandoned castle.
Preferably no humans in sight.
Should be a mysterious one.

Don't mind a hike or something to get there. Once again no humans in sight preferably.

The great wall of china is similar, you can find plenty of castle like stretches with literally 0 people in a 20 mile radius that are as intact as they were hundreds of years ago

Fortifications are built to serve human needs, this means that they are most likely to be in human places. Maybe you can find an abandoned border post at a border that doesn't exist any longer (like the Great Wall bastion >>2786316 suggests), but largely your desire is incompatible with reality.

check out Wales. Never been to a place that felt more like Lord of the Rings
