Are kelp forests the next best thing if you ever want to visit an alien planet?

>>2835613Man I want to visit one. I once lived near a small lake with a patch of water knotweed in the middle and every time I went spearfishing it was magical, even if it was just a bunch of vines in a glorified pond. Can't imagine how majestic an actual big kelp forest is.
