ok real shit, important question

why is photographing wild animals with drones so looked down upon when trail cams are okay?
>inb4 hurr noise
nigger this isn't 2005, most drones are quiet enough to the point where they can hover 10m over your head and you probably still won't hear it. go ask any slavshit conscripts duking it out in donetsk right now
>inb4 animals have keener senses
again, trailcams. those motherfuckers emit an ungodly amount of IR lights only visible to animals (and other IR cameras i guess) yet no one seems to have any problem with them

high IQ answers only

Drones are nigger technology for zoomer influencers and the chronically online.
>>
>>2854742
>the chronically online.
so you?
>>
They are used a lot where I am. Australia. But the thing is 99.9% of people that are /out/ are white here so everyone is very chill. The only time it will annoy someone is if you are flying it over there camp and this did happen and it supposedly triggered a double murder a couple years ago. Just be respectful and everyone is all smiles and waves.
>>
I have many drones.
My micro drones even have cages on the props so I can safely interact with flocks of butterflies.
>>

He won't respond to that.

Are you really so jaded to think maybe he logged off 4chan and spent time with his family at Christmas?
>>
>>2854816
kek here he is
>>
>>2854741
if i see a drone i try to destroy it. if the user speaks up he is next. make sure to bring friends and witnesses.
>>
>>2854845
>if i see a drone i try to destroy it.
honestly the idea of an angry mongoloid chasing a drone around a park waving his arms at something he will never catch is pretty funny, make sure your tard wrangler records in next time.
>>
>>2854848
>chasing a drone around a park waving his arms at something he will never catch
that's why you use a gun duh. it's sad that the europoor mind can't comprehend something this simple
>>
>>2854851
well, he's not going to hit it with the empty nerf gun his wrangler gave him.
>>
>>2854848
kek. maybe you do have a point.
>>
Everyone who actually goes /out/ consistently hates drones. They're rude annoying bug-person technology. On the same level as people who hike with Bluetooth speakers. Most people won't say anything, but rest assured if someone sees you and doesn't talk to you about it, they just think you're an annoying faggot and are keeping it to themselves.

Aside, half the posters on /out/ identify with Tedd K. to some extent. This is like the stupidest place to come looking for validation on fucking up the wild character of natural spaces with annoying technology. Fuck off zoomie.
>>
>>2854741
>you probably still won't hear it
Animals can hear and see better than you, retard.
>>
>>2854845
FAA violation.
And its federal.
Enjoy prison.
>>
>>2854741
>they can hover 10m over your head and you probably still won't hear it.
nah, you just have hearing damage. Also just because you can't hear it doesn't mean animals can't. Most animals have far better hearing than humans at frequencies we can't hear.
>>
>>2854934
>validation on fucking up the wild character of natural spaces with annoying technology
again if this was the case how come you people don't have a problem with trailcams? those things are massive IR blasters that can fuck up animals as well
or maybe those are okay because they only bothers animals and not (You)?

>>2854971
>>2854976
jesus fuck you illiterate retards, read the fucking OP first
>>
>>2854984
Anyone who sees you flying a drone, even in urban spaces, let alone wild ones, thinks you're an annoying faggot.

Nobody is going to come in here and defend you or help you cope with what you already know to be true otherwise you wouldn't even have started this thread.

Some animals can sense far infrared aka heat, but no animal can see near infrared that's used in cameras.

No problem with it at all. Sub 250g drones with new props are very quiet.

How exactly are do doing that Rambo?

Get a load of this guy

Fantasy does not translate to reality that easy. You won't be able to shoot a drone out of the sky that's actively moving at speed, all you'll do is waste ammo. Ask the fodder in Ukraine how shooting a drone works out for them whydoncha.

holy shit you're embarrassing.

>no animal can see near infrared that's used in cameras
Wrong
If you ever used a CCTV you'd know that it's a well-known and widespread issue to get bugs swarming it and making its motion detection system useless
Also it's been scientifically proven that these lights fucks up the migration patterns of several species
>>
>>2855305
The heat from the camera itself and small amounts of visible light from the leds is what attracts insects.

>Also it's been scientifically proven that these lights fucks up the migration patterns of several species
Source? I'm not seeing anything about this on google.
>>
>>2855310
Literally the first result on google

It says they react to the cameras taking pictures because of the sound and light produced. I tried following links to ones that mention infrared, but they mostly just talk about sound frequencies and practically nothing about how they supposedly detect infrared.
It also doesn't say anything about their migration patterns being affected.
>>
You faggots are complaining about drones ruining your /out/ time, yet I have never seen a drone outside of suburbia. Even then, I have only seen drones on very rare occasions. You fags never go /out/.
>>
>>2855331
What about people blasting music in nature? This is another thing I see people complain about online but have only experienced it once myself.
>>
>>2854741
If you get a high quality one, they make for great air cameras. You can get some wonderful shots. You don't even have to be in any industry, you could just have it for personal use, or upload it to YouTube.
>>
>>2854741
>most drones are quiet
None of the ones I've seen flown near me are.
