I'm too retarded to understand digital workflow and I've stopped photography entirely because of this.

Any good guides for what software etc I need?

Sonyfag here, have a pretty old AS7 I want to force myself to take and print more pictures. Mostly architecture, landscape, and streetscape.

If you hate post processing than unironically get a Fujifilm and shoot JPEG and use film sims. It'll allow you to focus on the fun bit: taking photos, and not stress about pixels. That's what I did and I'm in a MUCH better place mentally and spiritually.

I had a fuji before the sony.

I think the sony shoots in JPEG but it doesn't have those film sims so I might as well shoot ARW (Sony's bullshit proprietary RAW) and filter it. It's the digital workflow that's crippling me.

download darktable and follow this guide

most people who can't into post processing just end up shooting film

I'm not sure what you mean by "workflow"
