I have a ricoh gr iix, What settings "recipies" would you recommend for someone trying to simulate the technicolor sort of vibrancy?
>>
Are chromabs racist?
>>
Judging by your example, just tape a sheet of baking paper over the lens?
>>
>>4380245
You're supposed to get a FujiFilm for that. Griii and iiix fucked the color science. The grii was much better for recipes.
>>
>>4380318
OP has a GRII. The special GRIIx version which plebs don't know about.
>>
>>4380318
>fujifilm
>good colors

>>4380245
This looks a LOT like the color science on old canon CCD DSLRs.
>>
>>4380356
>trashes fujifilm
>shills canon

This really is a board for retards and incels huh
>>
That looks awful imo. But It looks like they turned down the saturation, shifted the WB to green/blue and turned down the blacks.
>>
>>4380444
fujifilm is outsold by *nikon*, dude. you can perceive things as popular if you’re terminally online and only see the ads and shilling, but in real life fuji cameras not called instax are shitty and obscure joke cameras for aging hipsters
>>
>>4380458
Meds, unless you know you're talking shit. In which case, have sex. Fujifilm make solid cameras.

I’ve shot my XH2s since the month it came out so over 2 years. I use a Nikon D850, Nikon D5 for years as my daily work cameras and have replaced both with 1 XH2s and 1 XH2. Also had a Fuji XT1 as a travel camera for almost 10 years and a Fuji X100F since it dropped. The Fujis have been used daily for hours most days a week and I’ve had 0 issues they are my bread and butter. Amazing light weight flexible system. Also shot Canon 5D, 6D and 5D mark iii before moving to Nikon then Fuji and I love how fast I can get a really nice usable image on the Fujis much easier than the other systems I’ve used

>his response to reality is internet meme babble
dudes right. you’re terminally online. fuji has 50% marketing presence and 5% market share.

without /p/ i wouldnt even know the x100 exists because i always saw camera review sites as AI generated ads instead of real reviews
>>
>>4380675
A photo instead of a snapshit of a camera would be a better look for a camera already shit on for costing $2k but underperforming a $1k used z6ii for photography
>>
>>4380675
Based. The best camera is the one you enjoy shooting with.
>>
>>4380681
>Doesn't critique camera.

You're not supposed to care about 'marketing presence' you midwit. It's about enjoying photography itself, and the x100 series does just that for many people. You should do the same: find a camera you enjoy and maybe it'll help you leave your house.

My point is fuji fanboys are a minority of dumb hipster geeks who like throwing money away on “lifestyle purchases” and its actually widely ignored in the general population. It IS like leica as much as this might hurt some leica feelings - not actually good cameras, but lifestyle purchases. They are marketed to a minority of gearfags who are sort of like car guys, its cameras for people who are “into cameras”. The 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual, 150hp rattly compact with nada for cashproofing only a classic rally racing nerd could love. Everyone else is rolling around in a WRX hatch at the geekiest.
>>
>>4380688
the critique is implicit

the world has enough essays about the inferiority of fuji’s technology and color capture compared to cheaper cameras and we’ve seen enough WR fail horror stories and ZF comparisons to know their build quality isnt consistent or very good
>>
>>4380692
a canon r50 has better autofocus and actually more resolution than an xt5 lol

Not linking any of my paid work because it’s easy to image search it and find my name, site and clients but here is a photo I took my my wife with my nifty fifty 35mm f1.4. Only editing is adding the classic chrome profile to the raw I think the colours are stunning personally

>Camera brand is bad because they don't appeal to plebs like me who need Snoy autofocus/autoexposure.

I get it now
>>
>>4380697
Yeah that’s pretty typical fuji

Instagram cameras for not so fast action

>>4380700
Most people want their expensive products to WORK. A camera is just a tool, and fujis are poorly made tools with a massive “car guy” lifestyle purchase tax slapped on top. They have auto everything too, it just doesnt work as well.
>>
>>4380699
Dreadful color science.
>>
>>4380701
accurate

any car will get you from A to B
only a certain kind of person will choose a reproduction of a classic mini cooper over a bmw 3 series, and pay the same amount for it

cameras are the best thing for car analogies because they are also mass produced soulless machines with the same general function, speed and precision differences, and unreasonable fanboys

I think you might of missed the part where I literally said these are my main work camera for 2 years lol. Most of my work is weddings, events, portraits and sometimes sports fashion like working with athletes to remote products such as certain shoes ect. Also shot lots of BTS for music videos the XH2 is giving me the same kind of resolution as my old d850 and the XH2s is giving me much more speed than my old D5. I don’t shoot video so can’t comment on their performance there. The way I describe it to people is it’s like having old school canon colour science but the dynamic range of a Nikon. Loved my 5D classic and 6D for its colour never had that with my D850 or D5 so I ended up having to edit a lot more.
>>
>>4380675

I got the first one when it came out, I'm waiting for a dust fix before getting a new version. Is Ricoh really on the 8th version???
