Its not like the "human" users’ "engagement" is any more valuable. Just game the algo and advertise products. Thats all instagram is. Competitive brainwashing, subversive advertising. Even TV commercials with paid actors are now shot as selfie videos because cattle actually feel better about the product with that facsimile of authenticity.
