Gold is overvalued as fuck. If you didn't buy a year ago then please don't buy now. Yeah you might miss the boat but also you might save half your money.

Gold bonds count towards gold reserve, they aren't separate.
Once again, USA has more gold reserve than the following five countries combined.

This is after we left the gold standard, so if any country turns to a gold standard they are still on USD.
If any country turns to silver they are still on USD.
If any country turns to bitcoin, still on USD.

Only thing USA does not beat anyone else on is Oil Reserves, which we are number 8 and I believe that's only because we do not drill often on our own soil.
Basically no other country comes close to us economically, China isn't even 2nd place in the grand scheme they are like fifth as Russia beats out China across numerous sectors.

Taiwan only has semiconductors (90% of all semiconductor production), that it is.
However USA has food (accounting for over 60% of all food exports worldwide).

I wanted to give China steel, since they account for 52% of all steel production, but if you look at the rates of unusable steel due to faulty smelting production, less than 20% of their steel is actually used and it is often re-smelted again because it can't pass quality control.

Which makes India arguably the best steel producers. Congrats, you finally figured out what you're good for.

The rally cry of retail investors.

National banks are driving the price.
Retail investors in gold and especially silver are virtually non existent.
You can’t get anymore fundamental than that.

How much actual evidence is there to support that claim?

I remember in 2003 trying to talk my dad into investing in gold. He was making good money at the time, and gold was around $300 per oz.
