The core user base of /pol/ is like 500 people max. Others come and go but can't influence the culture. Even the jannies are mostly impotent when it comes to that.Then we have the agitators who post bait but don't stay around to argue when it get BTFO. These are the jannies.Then we have journalists, there are probably hundreds who drift in and lurk. They lurk because a lot of stuff has broken here. Hundreds at least.Then we have the actual government agitators who number in the thousands who can be summoned in case something happens.Finally we have the people who browse but never post which is much higher.
My thesis is we 4chan card carrying members are the most powerful people in the world barring a very few. What we say goes eventually. It's interesting how this works. In the old days of the Enlightenment you had Rosicrucians making up a Society of Letters who pretty much shaped things even though by and large each person involved was not a Monarch.
