They are basically chinese muslims. They don't look like afghans despite what that other guy said. They take the children, give them new names and hide the fact that they were uyghurs and educate them in chinese schools/camps. I met a guy from there. He said the chinese have mostly taken over kyrgizistan and kazakhstan. He said the chinese pay them to send fleeing uyghurs back to china. He also said uzbekistan had lots of chinese agents but wasn't fully under their influence yet. I'd say all of this is mostly bad for russia considering russia operates under the assumption that kazakhstan is basically fully russified but apparently that isn't the case.
