But things are much more collective-based than they were. You're expected to be part of the blob. Niche audiences are not allowed, everything MUST be for the Wider Audience. You have to engage with X system in the one size fits all way. Stop being difficult, etc. Individual web pages? Gone, use the dominant social media platform like everyone else. Subcultures are basically dead, it's all about the monoculture, everything is either absorbed into the blob or exiled and totally excluded.
