AMD signs AI chip supply deal with OpenAI
what did you all make from this habbening?
surely you saw it coming like Trump sisters and bought with leverage, right?

no, I sold my last 50 AMD stocks in May

I think Asrock might be innocent and Amd is the one who dropped the ball with zen5.

Asrock is innocent which is why they have a disproportionate amount of cases.

I bought AMD for $10k in january. Before that I sold all my NVDA for >1000% profits. I'm the master investor but I'm still poor because I didn't have $100k to put on AMD.

And that's when you buy more, instead of panic selling. True investors are eagerly waiting for a crash. It's extremely simple, you cannot time the market anyways so this is what you do, you buy the dips, because that's fucking easy.

So why is this happening? What's the latest news? AI announcement?

Why do Gigabyte Asus and MSI have issues then?

I just have property and since everyone needs property...

Actually I have been running a Long MU / Short AMD pair trade since 08/01/25, the big pop in AMD just took a massive chunk of my profits, but I am still up 64% on the position in just over 2 months.

Going to take my Q3 short positions off soon, but not quite yet. My other pair trades opened on 08/01 (rounded to nearest half%):
Long MU / Short AMD: +64%
Long PLTR / Short AI: +27%
Long HOOD / Short COIN: +21.5%
Long IBIT / Short MSTR: +15.5%
Long GLD / Short SLV: -13.5%

I usually hedge for the Spring and Fall periods as they are volatile, like I said before going to take my short positions off probably sometime within the next 2 weeks; but not yet. Very happy with the way things are going this year. Yeah the pop in AMD today sucks, but I am up triple digits on my MU and HOOD positions so far this year so it is what it is.
