Wild. I take out teeth under local anesthesia only all the time. It’s pretty rare to refer anyone out to an oral surgeon (generally if the patient is a huge weeny at just can’t deal). Was probably the case here I’d guess. Brush your teeth, guys. If you don’t and they need removed, just do it under local anesthesia if possible. Way cheaper, way faster to be seen, and you aren’t going to just stop breathing during the procedure.
