How did they not see this coming?

if they offshore this critical asset why didn't they make sure they can get local or friendly production before seizing the office? are europeans retarded?
>>
>>519513687

Read the article, it basically confirmed we live in clown world.

The chips are not sophisticated, they are basic and a lot of them are needed.
The chips are 100% made in the Netherlands.
They are then send to China.
All China does is box them and ship them around the world.
Somehow this means there is a shortage of them in Germany, even though the Netherlands and Germany share a fucking land border.
>>
>>519513687
>are europeans retarded?
i'll never understand why the mutts enabled the chinks. ivan's nukes don't even fucking werk.
>>
>>519513250
Why Nexperia, though? Perhaps the point here is to serve as a warning shot.
ASML is in Holland, and it is the REAL important company in the chipmaking world. ASML makes the machines that make the chips. It's the only company that produces EUV lithography machines. Without ASML, China really would have a problem. And they have already placed various restrictions on sales to China.
>>
>>519514262
the chinks did a lot of that by themselves. people love claim they did nothing, because it makes for a funny meme when they are winning, but china absolutely encouraged retardation in europe to a self-destructive degree.
they were always heavily pushing for all the green deal shit and ruinous CO2 targets for example, all while negotiating exceptions for themselves.
pretty sure if someone actually dug into the funding of our establishment parties, you'd see billions flowing from china into them to ensure the retards who are easily exploited stay in charge.

>All China does is box them and ship them around the world.
In the chip industry, "packaging" means installing chips on circuit boards and turning them into finished products... an industry that China totally dominates. Think motherboard manufacturing, for instance. Pic related.
So the Dutch side is looking for new integrators. (They won't find any.) And the Chinese side is looking for new chip suppliers. (It'll take Huawei or a similar company 6-12 months to get production going.)
>>
Nexperia might make chips in Europe, but the source materials probably come from China.
>Polysilicon, the primary raw material for silicon wafers used in semiconductor production, is overwhelmingly produced in China. As of 2024-2025 data, China accounts for 93.5-94% of global polysilicon capacity, making it virtually inevitable that Nexperia's wafer fabs source polysilicon (directly or indirectly) from Chinese producers, even for European-based manufacturing.

China is the dominant player in the chip fabrication world.
>>
>>519514789
Except most of the energy they produce is now renewables. It's funny to see eurojews who pushed le green revolution so hard now doing a full 180 because they couldn't get ahead of it and are even mow claiming China was the one that psyoped them into it all along kek

>>
>>519513789
the wafers were made in the netherlands
everything else was made in china
packaging is then done in china
note that the ex-CEO's other company in china makes wafers and the point of contention they had with him was him placing 200m in orders from his wafer company in china, when they thought 100m was enough

I've always believed that green energy and faggotry is just a cope for Europeans after they lost their white pride and needed something to consider yourself the best. And so they started to think that they are better than the rest because they love migrants, green energy and gays. Giving it up is mentally the same as losing the war again

no. Greentards were funded by the US to keep Germany from reaching its nuclear potential thats why a lot of German physicists now work in China on next gen reactors they get funding here while getting told to fuck off here. Also the french started the green bullshit because they wanted to sell new cars but then cattle mind of Germany took over and here we are. European ((elite)) is to blame for the mess not China, the US did just what it always does taking out a competitor through a psyop.

Yes, they're also lapdogs to America but still very arrogant. >if they offshore this critical asset why didn't they make sure they can get local or friendly production before seizing the office? are europeans retarded?
It's an edict from the US.
Dorito Hitler imposes sanctions on a whim against China, demands EU takes action (EU is a US project so they will ofc oblige) and the EU does.

Your very correct solution requires planning and at least a few years of actual preparation (including infrastructure investments like energy) before it can happen.
So in short, the demands came too fast and our leaders are too retarded to understand it (even if they were given enough time they would fail).

See pic rel for instance.
All the way back in 2008-ish Europe advertised that they wanted to decouple from Russian energy.
Later it became more explicitly an act of aggression, intended to cut power to Kaliningrad and causing energy shortages etc there.
Russia reacted and started expanding energy production, building more powerplants and transformer stations.
In 2025 the EU finally cut the power connectors to Russia... without having expanded energy production or invested in infrastructure to handle it.
Over night energy prices double in the Baltics while Kaliningrad see lower energy prices since they now export a little less.

This is the level of retardation we are talking about.
Ofc they would take over a Chinese chip company without considering the fact that all chip manufacturing was done in China and the offices they took over were just office workers doing marketing and maybe some R&D.

I’ve never bought or even seen Chinese semiconductors in my life. Every computer or electronic device I’ve ever used had chips and boards made either in Taiwan, the US, or Japan. And the kinds of chips we’re talking about here are mostly made in America.
>>
>>519518719

That's capitalism. They'd be violating their legal fiduciary duty to their shareholders if they didn't do that.
>>519518719
>You don't really need it if your industrial processes aren't growing and your population is also barely growing.
True. It's not like the west is mass importing 3rd worlders to work in factories, they're here to rent property from boomers to keep them rich, and work jobs in service industries and nursing homes to make sure boomers die comfortably.
>Kissinger thought this was a great way to own the dysfunctional soviet union that was on a long course to self implode (similar to US itself in recent times).
Most poltards blame China for "stealing our jobs" but don't realize that it was a deliberate geopolitical strategy to keep China on our side rather than economically aligning with the USSR, and that western businesses were happier than pigs in shit at the profits from working with China.

I wouldn't entirely put it past Euros, but I don't think its as simple as that. Setting aside China's retaliatory measures related to this specific company (ie export controls on the production that takes place in China that the company depends on to function), this act of piracy has major implications on foreign investment in Europe. They had to spuriously invoke wartime measures meant for requisitioning things like food and strategic resources during war. This move sends a strong message to anyone looking to do business in Europe that they have no rule of law and their investments can be stolen on a whim.

That's actually not "capitalism" and it is one of the most socialist policies in the world. Why do corporations have a "fiduciary duty to their shareholders" to begin with? Who arbitrary decided that one day? And why do all corporations have to follow such guidelines?

It's the same with the concept of a "corporation" in general aka another government invention forced upon the free market. You know such a concept didn't exist until the late 1800s.

Completely delusional - that manufacturing capacity is never coming back to the USA and would take decades if the USA was serious about it. Trump just made sure whatever was left will be completely destroyed.

>Last year China built over 40GW of new coal generation. This year it's on track to add more than that.
China keeps building modern coal plants, but they're retiring older, dirtier coal plants. The net electricity produced from coal isn't increasing. It's like how Europe's new energy projects don't actually increase capacity.

Putin is a Germanophile, he's adopted their poopen inspection culture.
don't pretend you don't recognize the Kotrückhalteinspektionsflachteller
it's used when the Bundesscheissamt sends a Blockscheissinspekteurswachmachtmeister to your Wohnung for your weekly Scheisseinspektion
alternatively, you can use your government KotbewertungsgesundheitsfrühwarnApp on your phone to report your Wöchentlicher Scheiß-Status
just german things

>yeah, I love my state that worries about me, I hope they'd open maid here too, I see it's already 5% of your total defunctions and only getting better
MAID is unironically based. The dead weight of aging boomers is going to destroy western civilization, it already is. The amount of resources that will need to be dedicated to taking care of these invalids is going to utterly crush the younger generations worse than it already is in the coming decades. Getting them to do the honorable thing and kill themselves is the only way we'll survive as a civilization.
