The tax credit thing was a separate issue, but the Democrats decided they weren't going to vote on a CR unless the Republicans added those in (which they weren't responsible for their expiration in the first place) and they said hey how about you just fucking pass your own budget assholes since you're not the ones in the majority.The Democrats in all of this are basically the meme of the guy putting a stick in the spokes of his own bicycle and blaming someone else.
